I have a gut feeling he won't be... but all evidence seems to point that he will be.

Wait! What evidence would that be, exactly?

1. GE confirmed as a VA.
2. The leaked survey
3. DG talking about Cullen's last name.
4. Probably other stuff I'm forgetting.

Admittedly, there is a fair amount that appears to be in our favour... but I'm just worried that we're just looking for any little thing because we're getting desperate LOL!

Now I'm wondering about Cullen's last name. It will be strange to finally find out what his last name is, after so many years (DA years) of not knowing it.

Edit: What if it's Dingwall or something corny like that?

Inverse logic (or whatever you name it, I'm just happily abusing terms), this makes sense... They feed us with so many bits and pieces indicating he will be included, whilst they hide evil grins and prepare for a final blow... Well played :]

Yeah, I totally agree with you we may be reading too much into things but hey, my gut feeling is positive, so who am I to argue with my gut ^_^

Cullen's a perfect way to finally give us a templar companion who was actually a templar (for quite a many years) as well.

I'm just really concerned that I'm gonna react as badly as I did with those Mass Effect 3 endings... granted, I had a lot of sh!t on my plate at the time in RL that contributed to it. But I still don't trust myself not to react badly, I certainly don't want my potential behaviour to reflect badly on the Cullen fans as a collective, you know what the BSN are like for pin one persons reaction on the entire fandom, lol.

After reading about the ME3 endings and people's reactions to it, I can't bring myself to finish my ME3 game. I don't think I'll ever finish it. Right now it's saved at Sheperd and Garrus having a picnic on the Citadel and he kisses her movie-style, and that's where I'm leaving it, because I think they're at their happiest, right there.

Hard call but I still think it's worth it. One of my favourite scenes with Anderson is at the end.

Yes, yes, so much YES!!!!!! I am desperate for a Templar companion and he fits the bill perfectly.

I also will add my two sense to pool, and agree that I think he will be a companion and an LI. I'm choosing optimism! I will not hate the game if this is untrue. Chances are someone else will just steal my heart because I haven't not fallen for a BioWare guy yet! Image IPB

And this is why you should never speak to your idols... except Patrick Stewart, he's cool.

William Shatner's cool, too. I follow him on the Twitter machine. I do. It's true. Altho, he is occasionally hounded by Twitter Dogs. I guess they didn't like him standing up and calling them out on the reddit for being the degenerate dogs they are.

Idk, maybe it's just these younger "idols" that take for granted which side their bread is buttered on.

Or...maybe it's just a star trek thing....

It's worth playing through to the end. Mind you, my first ever playthrough already had the EC added so the ending was less harsh. I liked it, even though I still don't quite understand what the hell was going on. Image IPB

Heh, we pretty much recycle what little we know and add a bit of silliness spiced with momentary downtime to the mix :]

I think Cullen, while we know he has a respect for his duty (but will also do what he thinks is right despite what his commanders tell him, ie Meredith), has ultimately always wanted love. I think we can see that he wanted to love and be loved, by his infatuation with the female mage character in Origins. So honestly, I think his chances for LI are pretty good. He's not like Varric who has sworn to never love again.

Good point, I also played with EC, so it makes a difference. I don't like the endings but I've learned to work my head around them.
