Oooo, someone made the banter in DA:O into scenes! They should totally do this in DA3:

it would be nice if the Templars who break away from the chantry...if that happens...have their own rugged Armor...something like this would be cool!

Yes! I really prefer this type of armor. As opposed to gigantic pauldrons and weight. Something more snug and understated. Something they can move in. And i think it's just more attractive.

I hope DA gets away from "medieval inspired" clothing and just moves towards practical fantasy. Most of the outfits look ridiculous, especially the noble outfits. Plus all-the-women-in-dresses thing has to stop. They need to move more towards LOTR or GOT style fashion.

OMG, Excalibur! That was some shiny @ss armor right there.Newschmoo wrote...
There is a kind of Excalibur (the film) vibe about some of the armour in DA.
The armour in Vamp's picture is similar to the templar outfit in the original Assassins Creed. Have to admit I agree with the opinions given. The warrior armour is a bit bulky.

The Tervinter fashion looks kinda gothic-ish.

Yes it does.Actually, I don't mind GOT. I misread MMGs post and got excited thinking about it.

Don't worry; I've convinced myself Dorian the Magister is going to be the Robert Smith of mages.

I just hope they they haven't invested so much time, money and resources into how it looks that the story and characters suffer a lack of development.

Considering how long they've been working on it, I would think they already have the story and characters done, and are now tweaking graphics and details. Isn't that how it works in game development?
yes, that would be a shame. altho, if there's one thing BW does well, it's story.LolaLei wrote...

True, but it doesn't hurt to be cautious. Chances are that the characters and story will be equally as indepth as the quality of it's new appearance, I'd just hate for it to be like Skyrim in that it was lovely to look at but everything else felt paper thin.

I dunno, all these overtop comments about the graphics... anyone else feel like they're just pumping us up because of Frostbite...?
I'm not convinced that those differences weren't more a consequence of the major change in art style between the first two games. So given that the art style isn't changing this time, I'm not really worried.Chanda wrote...

We really haven't seen anything of DA3 that is actually rendered in Frostbite, yet, but I hear Frostbite makes for some really beautiful environments. I just wonder if our characters that we knew (like Cullen) will be very different. Take for example Cullen in DA:O: His skin seemed almost bruised and lined, and his hair was on the red side. Then he updates for DA2: His skin is smooth, the circles under his eyes aren't so pronounced, and his hair is lighter. So while we'll be able to recognize his features on Frostbite, I'm sure they're going to change yet again.
This requires trotting this out again... manip by Avilia.rapscallioness wrote...
