Samara: I know what you mean about the dark hair. Boy howdy! He was by far my fave thing about the movie. It was like the putting on jeans scene in Thor... I was sitting there in the dark, fangirling all by myself, glad el husbando decided not to come. LOL

Oh yesssss... The jeans... Though I'm not a huge fan of Hemsworth's looks, that was a yummy scene.  But since we're on the subject and off the topic... The scene in Avengers where Loki walks from the balcony above and comes down, then flips his scepter right before thwacking a security guard in the face, that whole scene.... Ilike it! :D

Then there's the scene where he seems genuinely interested in Natasha's story... Well, I should stop. It wouldn't do to wave my fangirly banner for another character in Cullen's thread. I'm glad you got to see Star Trek. :D If/when I go, I'm going to drag my husband with me. But he'll totally have to put up with my fangirling of Benedict because, more than likely, he'll instigate it. He always does. He knows I'm exceited to see Tom in a vampire flick so he found pics from it and changed my desktop when I came home for 4 days. He kept asking me, "Don't you just looove that hair? Goes great with the pale skin. I'll be sure to find some of his fangs before the next time you come home." He's done this for every Dwayne Johnson movie that comes out as well. My husband is an epic troll and has rightly earned the title of Bad Guy from his step-mother. haha!

I'm imagining them standing side-by-side in ill-fitting dresses looking embarrassed and miserable while fangirls squee at them

Yeah, yeah... But I like them pale and dark haired so... :P Dwayne is one of... 2 exceptions. The other being Jason Statham. ^_^ I like artsy-music-and-wine kind of guys.  :D But sometimes, a brawnier dude gets my attention. Though Tom with the extra muscle weight he put on when he tried out for Thor was reeeeeally nice! He wasn't bulky but damn the extra looked good on him! Especially with the dark hair...

Wha-? :o That's just... so... wrong! :pinched: But now the image is in my head!  You guys are so evil! EEEVIIILLLLLLL!!!!!

Now, for balance; imagine Cullen in drag - corset and all. He already wears a skirt! Give him a parasol to protect his skin... :bandit:

Aww hehe :D I like more manly guys, for lack of a better word. Not saying I like bowed up muscley macho jerks or anything. Just with a more masculine build. But like you said, we all have exceptions to the rule. My #1 pretend husband is Ewan McGregor xDDD

Tom Hiddleston is definitely very cute! Just definitely not my type :D He's like a real world Fenris

The Cumberbatch has a great voice to boot! He does sinister so well.

Can't wait until Sherlock is back on our screens.

Well "type" is more about fantasy than reality. I've gone out with very different guys, too.

Tweets:

Jason Barlow:
Ah... I'm just randomly discontent this evening :( This is a shame, by all indications everything is really awesome.

Aaryn Flynn :
@JasonTBarlow It's the buildup to E3. Lots of folks are antsy!

Liz Lehtonen:
@AarynFlynn Hits the nail on the head!

Aaryn Flynn:
@Liz_Lehtonen We're all feeling it, believe me. But I know it'll be worth it :)

Sounds like the devs are getting pre-E3 nerves. I guess they must be a little worried at the reception the game will get.

gah, them's fightin' words! LOL actually what I like about B.C. In Star Trek was how... Mm, dangerous and badass he was. Not too girly, IMO. :)

now Thor... Hubba, don't get me started. LOL

Yeah, after DA2's reception I'm sure they are really nervous. I actually LIKED DA2 even though it does have its problems. I'm keeping my expectations low, but at the same time I have faith DAI will be awesome.

I jump on the Benedict Cumberbatch bandwagon :] I liked his sinister character in Star Trek so much. For me he's got too unusual features to be considered girly, but I guess it is a matter of opinion. Chris Pine is more girly/pretty of the two, with his little nose, lush lips and blue eyes. I must admit I like guys with unusual face features, which might or might not be reflected by my real life choices

*now I'm wondering whether there is a celebrity husband material for me*

I guess with that and the ME3 endings they're expecting people to kick off even if the reveal looks awesome.

Real world Fenris?!:huh: Not seeing that... But it's all good. I do like a manly man. Can't stand overly soft gents. But I guess to me, Tom and Benedict don't seem that girly. They do have a presence to them, a gravitas that I like. I'm not a dude's dude kind of girl but I like men with a bacbone. My husband is sometimes a jerk - not to me - but he's not one to back down from what he believes. I like that. I guess that's why Cullen was able to pull an eleventh hour "Oh hello!" from me. :D A good example of what I mean, I guess would be Eric Draven from The Crow. He had a great mix of manly attributes along with the long-haired rocker vibe. Shame Brandon Lee is gone... :( I don't adhere to a specific type really but I have noticed a trend.

And those poor boys! Got them gussied up and being catcalled!:lol::lol:

^^I like DA2 and I like the fact that they were not afraid to play with different things. Sometimes you hit a jackpot, sometimes you don't. There are obvious annoyances but it did not make me hate the game. If anything I like it almost as much as DA:O for completely different things. I actually like the change of pace of DA2 after playing Origins.
