And... does anyone else really hope that we have the chance to defend our companions/side with them in an argument this time around? I don't know about you guys, but some of the banter really crossed the line into straight up bullying for me at times, but there was no way to step in to do anything about it. Which just left me really wishing I had a pimp hand button for Fenris, Anders, Sebastian, and even Aveline with her ****-shaming. I know the companions are more than capable of looking after themselves and don't need to be babied, but who wouldn't step in to stop a friend who was bullying someone else or defend a friend who was being bullied or shamed?
I'd love the option to jump into banter once in a while. Even if it's just to tell someone to shut the F up and stop whining. That being said (and I know this was brought up previously so - sorry), I'd rather not have the pressure of that ME interrupt thing. I found that stressful. Sad, I know.

I don't think it has to remove huge chunks of the story but rather just change it a little. And the companions you don't recruit have side quests you won't be able to do but, again, it would be a minor optional thing. I liked how in DAO people may greet you differently based on your race or class but it was a minor switching of words. Carver/Bethany also felt like duplication to me and I despised that the class I chose decided which one if them lived. I much preferred the way the Deep Roads thing was handled. Take Anders along and the tainted sibling can be made into a GW. If not, they die. Leave them at home and something else happens. I liked that. Made me want to play more than once.
