I think I've hit the end of my patience. And then that tweet abt which characters would you like to see? Are they talking abt old characters, or possible new/returning ones?
Which characters would I like to see? Well, idk. Which characters do you have on tap?

It's your story and if you think it, there should be a way to explain it!SamaraDraven wrote...
Next question: I want to... ease Anders' fanaticism. Just a little. I was thinking that since Justice hounds him mercilessly about the affair he has with Hawke in-game, it might be plausible that Anders is less fatigued by his guest when there is no romance. The caveat to that, however is that Anders doesn't move in with Hawke and he said he wanted to leave Darktown because the Templars were closing in. In-game I know it doesn't happen this way, but it seemed logical to me that if he doesn't move into Hawke's estate that the Order does find him. I want to make this A Thing in my story. And Hawke's actions, from a purely professional standpoint mollify Justice. A little. In my playthrough where my mage romanced Anders fullstop, Justice had accused her of not doing enough so to have Anders not involved with her romantically but have her help in their cause - to a limited extent - makes the spirit a little less desperate.
Being an AU, my story is trying to plausibly turn Anders away from what he does in-game. I guess I just can't let go of feeling robbed when playing DA2 in different ways yielded that same result. What I'm aiming for is a whole different Big Bad Thing that's happening and it's all the the Chantry and Templars' fault so I need Justice and Anders to not go "Chantry Boom!" hahaha!![]()
After all that... my questions is: Would it seem plausible that Anders having no romance with Hawke could be guided off that precipice? I know in-game he says she brings him solace but I also know Justice was always harping on Anders about it. So if Justice is less impatient, maybe they don't resort to that. And what does happen is much worse! But it's not by Anders' or Justice's hand.
I hmmmed and hawwed over this, and I think I might have a solution. If there was ever a point in the game where I felt Anders could have been turned away from 'chantry go boom' I think it would have been after he almost/or killed that mage girl. You didn't need to be in a romance with him for that to happen and you still had influence over him (if you were able to convince him not to kill the girl).
I pick this plot point because it is also when Anders finds out that not only was the Grand Cleric against the Tranquil Solution, but so was Meredith (to me that's kinda a big deal). Anders sees that not everyone is as evil minded in the chantry and order as Ser Alrik. Anders even expresses hope at this point and decided to either write or talk (I can't remember which) to Elthina herself. I always thought that if Hawke had pushed Anders more in this meeting with Elthina, things may have been avoided. It is very hard to murder someone you have met and spoken with, especially when they are not a bad person.
Anyways, I think this course of action would be enough to appease Justice, since Anders would not be giving up hope or the fight, just taking it in a new direction and Hawke would still be showing Mage support, so Justice wouldn't feel enraged or more like Vengence.
As for Anders moving out of the clinic/darktown, I don't see why you couldn't bend the rules and have him move in to Hawke's estate anyway. I'm sure Hawke has extra rooms to help out a friend in need. I think Justice would see that as another plus for Hawke and would stay mellow since Hawke would be doing everything should could to protect her friend from the templars.

I'd like to see/know something abt the PC, of course. I wanna see new characters. And I count Cullen among that simply cuz if he's in--he'd be a new companion---hopefully..
Other than that, I've already seen any old/returning characters.
Yeah, I think the most important character to see at this reveal is the protagonist. Anything else is just a bonus.

I'd like to see a female version of the protagonist, as well as the male. We've waited this long, why not pull out all the stops!LolaLei wrote...

I'm loving this. And the tattered bits of what remanins of his templar uniform.Says alot.
Long hair does suit him. I could imagine after he's on the road w/us, him pulling it back into a slight ponytail..
I wish this theme of Cullen prisoner would show up in game. But hey, I'm sure anything they do will be interesting enough.

ZAM: Jumping forward into the far future… After Dragon Age: Origins, you noted that you were already thinking of making Dragon Age 2. Is Dragon Age 3 already being thought of? Any ideas brewing?
Mark: Actually, if you've seen Cassandra in Dragon Age 2 (the Seeker talking to Varric as he discusses the storyline), our current thoughts on Dragon Age 3 is that she would have a major role in DA3. Some of the things being explored here (Dragon Age 2) are leading toward that.
