That was my thought, but I was thinking that it would be Orlesian.
Ah so maybe something like... Lyon? Leon?
Oooooh! Something like "de Lyon" would be fantastic!!!
I was just noticing in the World of Thedas yesterday that there's a family in Orlais that uses lions in their masks and stuff. C'est magnifique!
Of course it'd be a mouthful to use all the time, so another title or nickname would be great. I'm in full support of the idea of not being called simply "Warden" or "Hawke" or "love" all of the time. We can be many things to many people without there being a problem with recording dialogue.
I like that idea of being called "Love" by your LI. I wasn't happy that Anders only had a pet name for you in Legacy, when in Origins if you clicked on Alistair he'd say, "Yes, my love?" I thought that sweet. Anders was all, "I think we should get back to the matter at hand." What a jerk!
It seems like I remember being called "love" by Anders, but it's been a looooong time since I romanced him, so I can't say for certain.

However, I definitely think that it makes more sense for someone who is your superior to call you by your last name, while your friends call you something more intimate and random NPC's and quest-givers or people beneath you in rank call you by your title.
I would have enjoyed being called "Lady Amell" or "Lady Hawke" by the other nobility or merchants trying to impress me. If we play an Inquisitor, being called an Inquisition title by other Inquisitors, while being called just "Inquisitor" by folks who aren't as familiar with Inquisition ranks, and then being called a last name like "de Lyon" by your superiors makes muuuuch more sense to me.
And I don't know about you guys, but I wouldn't mind never being called "brother" or "sister" ever again. That was jarring!
