Man, I don't like the sound of this new business at all. Don't like that it's always online, that you can only unplug for 24 hours, that you can only give your games out to one person. I miss the days when I could loan out stuff to 20 people if I wanted to.LolaLei wrote...

If DA3 isn't current gen compatible then I think I'll get it on PC instead.

I live in a rural community where I frequently lose internet for over 24 hours at a time, or it drops down to .25mbps. So since they clearly don't want my money, I'm not going to offer it to them.

It really bothers me that once you drop your hard earned coin on this thing, it never really feels like it's yours. With the constant rules and watching and monitoring, it feels more like you are renting or leasing the damn thing while selling your soul in the process.
The company has gotten greedy, and no longer wants to share it's toys, yet it expects you to conform.

I've got the supposedly ultra-fast fibre optic broadband and my connection is still a piece of crap. There's no way my Xbox will be able to work online constantly.

It's another government all over again. It's like buying a house. You buy it, but it's never really yours. This remind me of the same thing. You get your xbox(house), can't share your games(water) with you friends (anyone). Can't buy and use used games (taxes)...
Video game stores are gonna have a hard time with this. None of that return after 30 days bs...

Awwww CRAPSTICKS!!!! I game on the PS3, and was looking to upgrade to the PS4. I've never been a PC gamer ( I honestly don't have the skill!) and obviously, I won't be switching to the Xbox One.LolaLei wrote...

It really has gotten out of hand. They monitor our phones, track our purchases, what we're watching on TV, what and how long we're gaming. It's only a matter of time before they put computer chips on our toilets to make sure we only flush the allotted 10x per day.
What's creepy is that the Kinect thing is supposed to be always watching/listening. Who knows what sorta data they'll gather from that. I don't wanna have to watch my mouth in my own home or actually put ****ing makeup on play my pissing games just in case they're gathering data or watching us!

having a brain chip to think you're actually in DA wouldn't be so bad though...LMAO
Apparently they've made something similar (not a brain chip) so that when you play you're fully immersed into the world no matter where you look. It's like a headset thingy.

It's MMORPGS only. No your friends can't play.
If you lose the download, you have to reinstal and pay a percentage of the orignial fee. Which means you owe us your first born son. Again.
