&ave to say I don't mind a bit of fur trim because in cold climes, Cullen's gonna have to keep warm!
I should add I only like fur of the fake variety.

Did you know Farkas and Vilkas mean wolf in Hungarian and Latvian. There's some Skyrim knowledge for ya there!
I wouldn't mind if the protagonist was called Vilkas, though it would make me think of Skyrim a lot, lol
If we have a dog, his name will totally be Farkas

About the dwarven city under Orlais, shameless plug here where I talk about the Stone Golem in Dragon Age 2 which mentions the Stone beneath Orlais and a bunch of other things.
That was such an interesting read! Thank you for sharing.

You know... it's funny you say this because the first thing I thought when I saw the concept art was that it looked... fake and photoshopped. That they had just stuck Cullen's actual head on some new concept art. But I do see your points about how, if he's a returning character, then they're probably just figuring out his outfit details. Hmm. Still torn on whether he'll be an actual companion, though I do expect to see him in the game again.Dave of Canada wrote...
If it makes any of you feel any better, that elf archer is about as generic as it gets with no distinct design decisions and no facial features at all. I'd be surprised if they didn't replace her completely with someone else or made another design which looks completely different.
Compare he to, say... Cullen. Distinct outfit, distinct facial features and the art itself feels "finished". The fact they introduced someone recognizable just solidifies Cullen's role in the game, meaning he's all but implemented and they're looking for thoughts on his costume design instead of the character itself.
Same with Cassandra and the Warden (but he's a newcomer, his design could be modified to greater extents).

PAGE 2000 UPDATE!
2000 is fast approaching, so I'm calling it. Theme is officially companion interactions. Do whatever creative activity you'd like to contribute, art, manip, fic, write banter, limerick, drink recipe, knock yourself out, so long as it's Culleny. For those looking for an inspiration, I point to brush's idea below... I think it would be awesome to see a bunch of short banters between Cullen and companions, old and new. How would Isabela taunt Cullen? Would Seb and. Cullen be friends or frenemies? Is Cullen a mabari person? How would Cullen speak to an elf, dwarf or Qunari companion? Let your imagination go wild, and post it up for pg 2000!brushyourteeth wrote...
Just as one thought that's welcome among many, I was thinking it would be super fun (and simple, as far as projects go) for us to come up with our own version of party banter between Cullen and a companion (past or present) or even a notable NPC (like Sandal or Wade/Herren).
The beautiful part of this is that it gives some of us the chance to stretch our writing legs without committing to something extremely long and challenging, because party banters are typically so short. It can be funny, or it can be serious -- you know how party banters either usually end in a good zinger or one character outsmarting another character with a differing viewpoint. Or maybe they bond, like Alistair/Wynne and Isabella/Merrill did.
If you're really inspired, you can write a series of banters, or more than one Cullen banter with a different character each time! I've been playing around with them in my head, and it's kind of addictive. Once you start thinking "What would Cullen and so-and-so have thought of one another...?" magic kind of naturally follows.
Those of us that aren't writers and are better with visual media can do something involving Cullen interacting with a previous companion or NPC. You could even team up with another forumite to do a written banter that goes with a drawing or photo manip!

Chris Pickford: The last capture. http://t.co/uDFCP7oFmP
Here's the picture that came with it:
Ok, now look at the dude in the far corner on his computer, see his computer screen? If you follow the link and look at the picture in big you can see what looks like artwork of two people one on the left and one on the right (the one on the right has been half cut off), behind them appears to be smokey shadows of a birds face (on the left) and possibly a wolf or a dragon (on the right).
I wonder if perhaps this is part of the artsy intro they do at the begin of each game? Perhaps the image is meant to represent Hawke and the Warden and their disappearance?
My first thought upon seeing this pic: Jesus Christ we need to get more women in the industry
Hello!
Also people, aren't we going to PARTY LIKE IT'S 1999 ala Prince/Cullen theme on page 1999?

What a stupid remark! I guess getting negative (and totally off base) comments is a bit of a right of passage for YouTube videos, so congratulations!

I don't mind, it's all feedback. Posh is fine I can't do much about my natural accent, condescending is something I've been trying to avoid so I'll need to work on that.

I thought about it, but they're all in the twitter thread already. I dunno. Perhaps we can just discuss any that seems particularly interesting. Like 3D map! That sounds cool. Otherwise... :shrug:LolaLei wrote...
Should we bother posting them up? Or just wait for the full round up?

Yeah, someone will probably do a lowdown of it anyway and we can speculate on it after.
