Ooh, pretty if dismal. Someone needs some TLC.

That's pretty! But I thought it was Anders at first. The hair being short denies that, though. Lovley all the same.
LittleNikki, Lola... I am joining your ranks of CullenDreamers.
Then on her quest, when she finds her dad and learns that he was so broken hearted after she left that he left his smithing and began working on a way to permanently restrain a mage's power without resorting to Tranquility in honor of her and her Thesis about magic that she wrote during her time at Kinloch Hold. The Tevinter Imperium got wind of this and took him hostage to force his secrets from him and did something to screw with her mind. He's horrified to see his daughter hate magic so much but when her journals that they recover are found, her mind block breaks down and they all learn that it was a rune - her father's research - etched into her skull, that was used on her. The Magisters appear and monologue about using this research on those who hate magic most and turning them on their own beliefs and say that they used Dagna, a magic supporter, to prove that even the stongest opinion can be reversed. They have plans to enslave everyone that believes magic is evil but Dagna's dad hasn't been cooperating to fix the flaws, hence Dagna's restoration.
I don't know what happens after this and most of the stuff before was more like... "knowledge". It was already "known" in my mind. That's the best I can think to describe it. The main bit I dreamed was Cullen stooping over a sobbing Dagna as she read her books and the rune breaks... poor girl.
So hi, everyone! I'm waaay too far behind to catch up on what I missed. How's everyone?

I have a banter ready for 2000...I have gone back to it several times worried if it's in character. But we'll see! I had fun writing it, actually.
Then I have a story lined up I've had in my notebook since the first time I played DA2. It's...a lot longer than I thought it would be. D:

Don't think I said this at the time, but I LOVED the chicken soup dream. Ah, I'm so envious of you guys and your culleny dreams. I never dream about DA. It's like my brain says, 'enough is enough, hon. think about real life for once!' LOLPhantomGinger wrote...

Funnily enough, I can't seem to come up with a single banter. But I wrote a short... thing, that's very dialogue focused. So sorta a banter. Still trying to find a good ending for it.
Knowing you, it will be awesome!

Knowing you, it will be awesome! All I've got is an Anders vs. Cullen snippet. It's not very long but when I wrote it, I was like "Daaaamn Anders! Ouch!" My other idea doesn't even have Cullen in it but it's about Cullen and the new protag from Varric in response to Cassandra. It's not even banter!
Ohhhh you wrote Anders vs. Cullen too? I can't wait to see yours!

You wrote Anders vs. Cullen? Awesome! Mine's not much - like really really short. I'm trying to expand it a little. Can't wait to see what you've got.

Yeah, I hear you there.I wrote my dialogue snippet as if it's from DA3. And I can't stop thinking about all the questions that may be answered about the lore. And I'm really excited to see if and how the mage/templar things is resolved. Getting impatient now for this game! haha!
But at the moment, I have to drive. <_< Have a good evening ladies!
We're soooo close to the E3 reveal now, but it's still taking too long!

Cameron Lee:
Hey, what save/load debacle are you talking about?
We asked can we import our savedata's from #DAO, #DAOA and #DAII into #DAIII and you guys said you working on that
Cameron Lee:
Yep you'll be able to bring your decisions from DAO & DA2 into the next Dragon Age. More info of that over the next few months.

Hmmm... his answer is still consistent with some other mechanism for importing "decisions" not necessarily the save games themselves. I can't wait for more details.LolaLei wrote...

I'm having a hard time imagining what I'd import from DA2 that would be so insanely important as to have an effect on the new game.... aside from "did you let Anders live?" and "Who did you side with on the mage / Templar fiasco?".

Yeah, probably things like what gender and class your Hawke was, which side you took, who you romanced, did Isabela come back with the book and stuff like that.

The mage / Templar decision would be important to Cullen. I guess it's going to depend on what else the game focuses on for the Isabela return to matter, no?
For rumours and stuff most likely, or a cameo. Also I imagine Hawke's personality alignment will probably count for something too.

I feel like being able to mold Hawke's personality was one of the most enjoyable aspects of the game; I really hope this transfers over! I've got so many Hawke's with so many different personalities.

I absolutely adored my sarcastic mage Hawke, he was so much fun to play! It was finding that combo which made the game much more fun to play.
