Holy cow, this thread is moving!
I'm having a hard time imagining what I'd import from DA2 that would be so insanely important as to have an effect on the new game.... aside from "did you let Anders live?" and "Who did you side with on the mage / Templar fiasco?".
I could only see Hawke's personality mattering if we see Hawke in person. But, yeah, I think there are a lot of things that *could* matter, it just depends on what story they'll tell. Like, what you did with the werewolves in DA:O didn't really matter except for the short cameo with the Dalish chick on the Wounded Coast. So it probably depends on how many quickie throwbacks like that they want to throw in, outside of the big obvious things. Even with those, many were set (Arishok dies, Meredith dies, Cullen defies her).LolaLei wrote...

I dunno, I mean if we run into Varric (or even Cullen) they might mention Hawke's personality, like if the protagonist cracks a joke or something and Varric's like:
"What is it with you heroes and bad jokes?" Or whatever.

Right!! Or perhaps we run into a LI, who, when asked to give a little insight into the great Champion of Kirkwall, wryly comments on Hawke's tendency to tell inappropriate jokes OR his/her tendency to punch first, ask questions later
