I thought the same thing, like trying to convince the turians, salarians, and krogan to all work together. Must get the templars and the mages to stop fighting, the templars versus the seekers, the Qunari to realize they should also be a part of this, etc. 

They did sorta do it that way in Origins. Seems to be a BioWare theme, I think. And then maybe our various allies from the groups are the only people that see the bigger threat more seriously. Unless we only acquire them thru doing things for them, as well.

So lets look for some hints from the trailer. Morrigan says:

"Faith lies in ashes" -That'll be the whole Chantry uproar, I bet that's a hint about the Divine kicking the bucket too.

"Our fragile alliances crumble to dust as this world is torn asunder" - Could be something to do with the Qunari, Ferelden/Orlais, civil wars etc. (As described in the survey leak).

"Darkness closes in. Will you stand against it? Or lead this world to its bitter end" - Hm, well if they intend to make a 4th DA game then presumably the world won't go to sh!t completely lol.

You know... they don't mention mages or templars at all. They just say war, linking it to "fires above" which sounds like the veil rip. I'm thinking veil rip is the "big theme" for this trailer. Calling it for the pool.

We're running around acting like friggin' idiots. And we know thinness of the Veil is..helped along by murderous acts.

We get what we deserve.

Second glowy one: either something to do with the protagonist or plot. (dragons?)

I'm working on a pt of DA2...and eventually another DAA one.

But especially the DA2 one is..idk, colored by this trailer. all of a sudden it feels much more serious.

It DOES color it, doesn't it? I'm almost at the end of my own DA2 PT and I'm sitting here looking at everything...I had one big mind f***.

This whole Mage/Templar/Chantry war must have torn the Veil something serious. Maybe Flemeth was helping it along? I am a firm believer that she is an Old God, and she has played neutral so far...just playing with the chess pieces until they are lined up perfectly.

If Varric is a companion again... I might end up in a strange place of somewhat jealousy for my Hawke. "No, Inquistor! Varric and Hawke were best friends, go find your own BFF!"
