Varric looked like potential companion, Cassandra as well but Morrigan could be only narrating

If Varric is a companion again... I might end up in a strange place of somewhat jealousy for my Hawke. "No, Inquistor! Varric and Hawke were best friends, go find your own BFF!"

I'm My pc is totally ready for Varric's lovin friendship

I really hoped that she possessed Morrigans body

I truly believe that this is the case in the trailor. She did not sound like Morrigan, but like... um, Morrigan impersonating Flemeth lol Plus there was the comment about having seen more war than most... that sounds like more than just one war. Like eons of them.

I'm working on a pt of DA2...and eventually another DAA one.

But especially the DA2 one is..idk, colored by this trailer. all of a sudden it feels much more serious.

It DOES color it, doesn't it? I'm almost at the end of my own DA2 PT and I'm sitting here looking at everything...I had one big mind f***.

This whole Mage/Templar/Chantry war must have torn the Veil something serious. Maybe Flemeth was helping it along? I am a firm believer that she is an Old God, and she has played neutral so far...just playing with the chess pieces until they are lined up perfectly.

And Qunari.

Oh, I have this overwhelming urge to tell everyone , "Run! Get the hell outta Kirkwall!' Nora and that bartender guy.

I'm beginning to wonder if Cass is gonna be a comapnion. I kinda took it for ggranted that she would be, but I'm not so sure now. A big part in the story, yes, but...hmmm.

Oo, so you think she will be a baddie in DA:I? I really hoped that she possessed Morrigans body

Not gonna lie, I... I might be disheartened if they change this perfect character that you don't quite know where you stand with her into... just anoth predictable big bad at the end of a story. Flemeth is too good to be turned into something so simple. :(

You knooowww, is it me, or the scene w/ the Qunari. That building w/ the giant bird on it---didn't that look like the Viscount Keep? Except for the trees. That blow around. *Twirl*!

I'm wondering.

I adore Flemeth. I really hope she's not the, or a big bad. I kinda hope she's just surfing the tides of change.

Well see, I guess.

She said more of this war, though?

I imagine that might have something to do with Morrigan going through the mirror.

I'm not against the idea of Flemeth having taken her body, but I think it's plausible that Morrigan does know more than the 'common rabble' at this point.

Wow, that trailer was amazing! It's sad that life has been so crazy that I actually haven't read any of the past week's posts, and I don't think I can catch up. I actually forgot the press conference was today. I've missed you people.

Varric looked great, Cassandra looked a little different and it was so awesome to see Morrigan again XD Is it just me, or did that Qunari look a little more like his face was made of melty wax than wet skin? Anyway, yay frostbite 3! (anybody else excited about the mirror's edge 2 trailer?)

Really excited to see that tear in the veil with dragons and demons pouring out.

Is anyone skilled enuf to do a mock up of potentially what Cullen might look like on the new engine.

I know I sure as hell am not.

And plus Morrigan has been in the mix since DAO. That was over ten years ago by now. And the whole other side of the Fade thing.

I think it's Morrigan, Just older..and prolly too many cigs. Or...do we know if that was really Morrigan's original VA?

Maybe it's someone else trying to voice Morrigan? She did a great job, tho.

But it could be "this war" in more general sense, i.e. war with the force of darkness... In my game Morrigan never went through mirror :]

There's a way to stop her from going through the mirror in Witch Hunt? Unless you mean you don't have Witch Hunt. In which case she easily could have gone through the mirror still, seeing she disappears at the end of Origins.

It still sounds like Morrigan to me. I recognised her as the narrator straight away, anyway. She just sounds older...? And like they used different sound equipment/effects.

I don't have Witch Hunt but you're right, she could sneak through it when I wasn't looking :]

www.dragonage.com/etc/designs/dragonage/images/homePage/dragonage3-bg-image.jpg

Here's the full image of the guy with the rings (the protagonist?). I really like his fancy sword.

...I almost wonder... if the protagonist will have something to do with dragons. Maybe s/he will have dragon blood or something?

Then again the dragon motif could just represent the veil rip/DRAGONS and that's all.

I love Felemeth, but at the same time I don't trust her. She has saved our protagonists, but only if it benefits her. The Warden was the only one who could carry the tasks set to end the Blight - Flemeth did not want to die; she said it could kill her if we didn't do something. And she had no interest in helping Hawke further until he/she said they were taking their family to Kirkwall.

I very well could be wrong, of course. I always settle on the cliches before expanding my theories. Do I like Flemeth? Yes. Do I trust her? Nope.

Oh, I never said she can be trusted and is on the side of angels, as it were, but that's just it. Her being neutral/having her own agenda is what makes her complex and really interesting. So if that leads to her becoming a big bad and a simple boss battle, that... will be really disheartening for me,

Obviously this is just me commenting on that idea she'll be a big bad, though. Heaven knows what Bioware has planned beyond the world going to sh!t.

What are the rings again? Seeker, not sure, not sure, Templars. What's the one next to the Templars?

I agree with you here. I'd like to believe in Flemeth because I tend to give people the benefit of the doubt, but after befriending Morrigan, I feel like I have to trust her more than her mother. Morrigan is kind of secretive, but she's got nothing on Flemeth.

Looking forward to seeing what she's up to in Inquisition.

Circle of Magi. The mysterious one is the glowing red one. So I imagine that's the one that might have something to do with the protagonist/dragons/something mysterious~

Man, I personally love how Varric and Morrigan look. And I'm so thankful they made 'em look older, considering it has been 7-10 years. I've seen far too many games that outright ignore ageing like that.

...I... I am a little enchanted by the thought of making a character in this engine. I really, really hope we get a CC demo before the game comes out. <3

I really like the battles scenes w/ that fortress place. At first I thought it was our castle, but now I'm starting to think it's the Grey Warden's fortress in the Anderfels, Weisshaupt.

I'm surprised people are still calling it a cinematic trailer...
