I think more along this line as well. I can't see him asking for proof. I imagine him being more like "no way, get lost", filled with secret longing until she inadvertently proves him wrong and then the flood gates open. In fact, wouldn't it be fun if it were a "Mr.  & Mrs. Smith" idea where they were both supposed to spy on or illiminate each other but instead fall in love?  (I watch too much TV, read too many scripts and books. Heh heh, I'd love that kind of storyline. And, I had a crush on both Mr & Mrs Smith in that movie. Smokin'!

Yeah, sorry, too busy to hang in for pg 200 yesterday. Indeed, maybe today! One idea I was thinking was that we could do a funny caption thing for page 200. I could post a couple particularly interesting Cullen shots, and everyone could chime in with funny captions for it... Just an idea!

I think any of those could work. The Varric height is only an issue if someone needs to touch him or something, since then the spacing and clipping are off. Was there a scene in particular you had in mind? Maker, I shudder to imagine some of Tallis's expressions on his face. It would be like predatory OOC Cullen all over again!  LOL

So I've finally finished watching Dawn of the Seeker. I think we can safely say that Cullen won't ever be made the Divine's right hand now that Cass has taken that title... unless Cass ever became the Divine, but I don't think it works like that?

I'm also not sure we'd get Cass as a companion after watching that either because she seems too important to be running around with a bunch of rag tag misfits. I think we might end up with Gaylan as our token healer mage though, which should be interesting. Perhaps Cass would send Cullen to join our party rather than join us herself (after he'd reported to the Divine of course.)

I think if they wanted Cassandra as a companion, they could find a way. Aveline was also relatively important, but she still "found time" for Hawke. But, yes, Cass is quite the VIP, although  I'd really doubt a warrior would be elected to be the Divine. As far as Cullen, depends sensitively on who he's getting orders from, come DA3, I guess.

I think you're right, though, that Galyan may show up again in the future. He certainly fits a particular cute, wisecracking healer model we've grown familiar with...

Overall, I enjoyed the movie, tho. What did you think?

I liked it, although I didn't like the look of Orlais in that film, it was very sparse, washed out and empty looking... which surprised me since Orlesians are supposed really into OTT decoration.

He's a very charming character, kinda reminds me of a cheeky toned down version of DA:A Anders but with a Alistair's naivety, it was very cute watching he and Cassandra give each other tender looks when the other isn't looking lol, it's a shame they didn't become an item or anything.

I want this *so much*! I would simply adore having a PC that had to compete with a fellow party member for her lover's attention. Don't get me wrong. I do really want Cullen as a LI. I just don't want Cullen to be the *only* LI, and Galyan is a character I would seriously like as a second leading man.

Remember Merrill and Isabela? Remember Merrill's innocent "How can anybody *not* love him/her?" and Isabela's sad "I know"? I could see the protagonist and either of them having that conversation.

So yes, the affection and desire I feel for our favorite templar remains undiminished, but I like to replay my games. There doesn't have to be only one.

I would also love that! I don't have any experience with ME triangles, but it seems that would  add a great dimension to the romance. There was a little of that in the DA2 banter, like Berelinde said, also Anders and Fenris getting catty about Hawke. Something I always wanted to do, and started writing the scene for an abandoned fic at one point, was throw down with Isabela about Fenris (and vice versa, altho I never got started on that version). I mean, he dumps me but then starts sleeping with her?!?!  Why is that suddenly OK?

So totally support the triangle idea! And, with Galyan and Cassandra...? Yeah, she'd probably wipe the floor with our low level PC... but it might be worth it.
