And outright refusing to believe Chris when he says it's in-game models, and quoting that devs have 'lied before' because they just happened to say that the end of 2013 was a target, even though they also said not to 'quote that' or 'take it as gospel'. Oh, BSN.

Well, it looks cinematic... their faces (face movements) look terrible. Morrigan looked terrible. I know, I keep saying it... sorry lol Usually when faces look weird it's cinematics.

I'm basically praying right now that they were simply rushed (where have I heard that before) and that's why everyone looked so terribly off. It was like (as someone said in chat today) looking at some old MMO, where the characters have to be really low-res so the server can handle it all. Just clunky and ... old.

Me too! I was so certain it was CGI or something.

I was floored when it was pointed out that it wasn't CGI. Just one more thing to make me supremely excited for this game!

So for giggles, and my weird fascination w/ the way weapons look in-game (they looked AWFUL in DA2)




And because this happened, and I also can't seem to get my mind out of the gutter...I can't be the only one that thinks this looks extremely compromising!

I think I've just been really unlucky with this reveal... it brings back two characters who are very popular but to whom I am fairly indifferent (Varric and Morrigan). But like if Isabela had made a cameo I would be super excited.

I fall in love with the wrong characters xD

I will say that after trolling tumblr for like ever this evening *lol* and looking at loads of gifs, Varric and Cassandra look really great, but still, Morrigan, yikes. But I believe it's as someone else said; Morrigan was a last minute thing and that's why she looks so bad.

And also, they better fix the proportions on the qunari; that thing standing on the hill in the rain looked like a character from League of Legions or something.

I always ditched Morrigan as soon as I recruited Wynne. It's nice to see her return but I'm not attached to her in any way. I'm starting to worry about the whole Old God Baby thing. I know OGB isn't supposed to be canon but with Morrigan having a role in DA...I don't know. I will be really dissapointed if OGB shows up in my game. None of my Wardens ever opted for the Dark Ritual.

I was thrilled to see Varric! I liked how you could really tell that he's been through a rough time.

I love Morrigan (though she wasn't a favourite) and I love Varric and Cassandra, so I guess I did well with this reveal. Honestly, though, there's no character I hate in any of the Dragon Age games. They just occasionally make me want to pimp hand them. >.>

Orsino and First Enchanter Irving did a good job of making me want to break their starves, though...

Oh... oh, that is possible and admittedly I hadn't thought of that! There's also an inscription around the setting. I can't tell if it's dwarven, Elven, or some other language, though. I must consult the World of Thedas.

Edit: just looked through the World of Thedas and there's no alphabets examples. There goes my attempt at being a detective. orz

It's not the drawing couples part that's hard for me. It's the tiny tinie space i have to do it in. If it was a regular piece of paper. Pfft no prob full detail and everything...but yeah...
