So, to mark the occasion here's a new question:

What do you guys think Cullen's reaction would be if he was cheated on? How do you think he would intially reaction to your character and to the "other lover", what do you think the banter regarding the situation between Cullen and the "other lover" would be like?

Also, what do you think his reaction to discovering that he's "other lover" would be?

LOL... good point! So... erm, can't help but notice when you get THIS up close and personal. "View image" on this one, and he DOES have hair on his chest. Just a little... Either that, or they're age spots. Or... stubble? Maybe he shaves it?


And, Berelinde, those are OUTSTANDING! "I'd tap that" LMAO

On jealousy... hmm. At first, I imagine him being all "screw you and the  horse you rode in on" and never speaking to the cheater again, since after all, it would take quite a bit for him to engage with him/her in the first place. Then I had an interesting, sorta sad thought. I could also see him being SO sad, that he'd be super logical about it, like, wishing them well and all that. Then suffering in silence.

If he were the other man... I think he'd be super pissed when he found out and break up with you til you came clean with everyone. He seems too upstanding and straightforward to accept being accessory to something like that.

Good question. Given his propensity for being Fate's whipping boy, I could almost see him sorta thinking he deserved it. For trusting in someone. Or thinking he deserved love. Or that it was okay to live happily ever after. Which is why he would just roll over. Anyway, that's one possible response that occurred to me... of course, depending a  bit on the circumstances for said betrayal, etc.

Good question. Given his propensity for being Fate's whipping boy, I could almost see him sorta thinking he deserved it. For trusting in someone. Or thinking he deserved love. Agreed. I could imagine him thinking that the Maker was punishing him for his sins, that he was to suffer for daring to divert his attention and emotions onto anything other than his religious duties and beliefs etc (especially if he fell for a Mage protagonist.)

On the topic of finding out he's not the only one warming the bed.... I've had this unwritten scene in my head for some time. There's a moment that Cullen accidentally comes across the view of your character and the "other" LI in what appears to be an intimate moment. What he doesn't realize is that what he's actually witnessing is the other LI trying to force himself, and skulks off before seeing you push him off and reject him. Cullen acts cold when you try to come to him for comfort. Later that night he drinks way too much... alone. Comes back to the PC in an angry weepy mess. Hurls hurtful, mean accusations that sends the PC off, heart crushed for not being able to convince him he's being irrational - he didn't see what he thought he saw. Maybe the rejected LI sees the PC rush away and confronts Cullen - "What did you say / do to her?". A scuffle ensues but it's not much of a fight since he's wasted. Falls down drunk and defeated. "She didn't want me. She wants you, you big ass." "Oh Maker, I really am an ass!" Passes out. Next day he's got some appologizing and groveling to do.

I know it's a sucky description but I've got a 6 yr old running all over the place right now and I can't concentrate. LOL

Omg that's so weird! I had a very similar idea for a fanfic, except it wasn't with another companion, it was with some pompous Orlesian noble who tried his luck and Cullen storms off in jealous strop (even though the pair aren't together at that point.)

But anyway, that would be pretty awesome but I doubt they'd ever do that with another companion because forumites would start ****ing that said companion tried attempted rape or whatever.

Hehehe, I posted that shirtless picture of Cullen in the romance thread and it seems to be going down quite well... Kinda hoping DG 'n' co don't see it otherwise we'll never get him as a love interest, or they'll do something horrible to him just to spite the fangirls LOL!
