Y'know what? I can't even listen to any of the DA soundtracks now because it makes me all excited for Dragon Age Inquisition and then I remember that we have over a year left to wait and I get all impatient lol. This is gonna be tricky when making all future DA related videos!
Welcome to the world of waiting for Bioware games! Take a seat, get comfortable. The container for your tears is to your left, and the floors are padded in case of sudden bursts of childlike temper tantrums.

I feel like the protag of this game is going to go through so much angst.
Like, an inhuman amount of angst (that makes no sense)
All that just from watching them struggle in a sandstorm. I'm just a horrible person that likes to watch thevirtualworld burn.
Just the way I like it! This game is gonna be depressing as ****!
Hopefully they'll throw us a few light hearted moments and some "off duty" time with our companions/LI to break up the constant barrage of bleakness.

I asked one of the devs if Inon Zur came back because it sounded like his music and of course I didn't get a response. Hehe. You never know asking those questions though.
At any rate, whoever composes this game better have an epic soundtrack with all this time to work on the game. It will be almost 4 years from DA2 by the time this game is released. That's an extremely long dev cycle for an EA game...almost unheard of.

I think what makes it tougher is that we've been waiting roughly two years already and we all thought that we only had a few more months to wait (March 2014 being the latest), then this E3 reveal happened and it feels like the clock has been reset again. For all we know come Fall 2014 it could be pushed to March 2015 lol!
Stll, this past year and a half has flown by so I guess this next one will too.

I reckon he probably is.

Also, it looks like whatever is happening there(attacking or helping) they're caught completely by surprise with the veil rip. Notice Cassandra's reaction. Hmm. Or perhaps someone manipulated something to make it look like the Grey Warden's fault and that's why the Seekers are attacking. Put them all together in one place so you can wipe them out. Almost looks like the Red Wedding scene from Game of Thrones(I won't post spoilers on that hehe).

GamerMD83 said she talked to him and he said definitely not coming back to the franchise. I don't think she would just lie about that. However, he could've been misleading her. He was upset about DA2's soundtrack. Read his interviews. He said he was not please at how much they rushed him to get it out so I can see why he wouldn't want to come back.

Could be Corypheus?
Something tells me he isn't going to play a major role in DA3.
What do y'all think about Morrigan though? Do you think she's friend or foe? I've always detected something cold about her and who's to say she was ever telling the truth about anything? If you pay close attention to Flemeth's conversations in DA2, it sure sounds like Morrigan might be the one manipulating. That's why if you try to LI her she pushes you away in DAO.
Flemeth said something I found interesting in DA2. She said something along the lines of, "Morrigan thinks she knows what is best but she really doesn't".
This is the conversation. Listen to her comments about Morrigan. If Flemeth is evil, then why do the elves seem to deeply respect her?

Sooooo, we were starved of any information for 10 months (if you count the survey leak) and "officially" longer if you don't count it (prior to that it was PAX East in March last year). The devs said we won't be waiting that long to hear more news again and should happen in the coming months/this year, which means we will learn more within the next 6 months.

I need more context to even take a guess at what they're trying to do/oppose/whatever. I do not think either are inherently "evil" either.
I'm more curious why Flemeth would raise her to be as she is, but then (seem) to scoff at her for it. What makes Morrigan different than Yavana? Did she raise Morrigan to actually oppose her? What would the point of that be? o_O

Six months is a super long time. I don't want to wait that long for more information. I want it now!
Maybe we will hear more at PAX Prime during a panel or something? My guess is that they'll tell us a little more within the next 3 months and then again during the winter period. Cam said that they have a lot info to reveal to us this year, so we should get some decent speculation fodder relatively soon.
Once we hit January 2014 that's when the publicity will start to really kick in because it'll be released that year.

I just want to see a gameplay video on the combat. That and some details on the plot.
I don't mind waiting if they promise to throw us bits of info every couple of months. Not just crappy little obscure things, but proper details (like the protagonist's name and how we fit into the Inquisition etc) so that we have something to speculate on to tide us over until the next bit of info.
I don't expect in-game demos to happen until next year tbh.

I don't think the little we have to dissect (like the map Cassandra stabbed etc) will last us very long, so hopefully by the time this thread is dying on its arse again they'll be ready to show us/tell us some new info.

It's weird, even though I'm looking forward a bunch of other games coming out over the next few months/year the only one that's really grabbed my attention to the point of impatience has been DAI. I'm not sure I can bring myself to do anymore playthroughs of DA:O/DA2. Getting my PC import of DA:O is already feeling like a chore because I've played it that many times, lol.

Can't bring myself to play through the Mass Effect games again thanks to those endings. Played Jade Empire so many times I'm bored of it. Urgh, I just can't seem to find a game that scratches the itch that only BioWare seem to be able to solve. The next 15-18 months are gonna be he'll if I can't find a decent replacement.
