I forgot about the book release in spring next year. This probably will add some interesting info about the situation.

Possibly they will spill more info. I just work on the premise we won't see the game for more than a year, hence expecting a break after E3. But that's just pure speculation on my part. On the other hand they can start revealing more straight from the bat :]

First of all, how he looks. His head is shaved, he has a lot of scars on his face (mercenaries tend to get scarred up based on other games I've played and stories I've read), he isn't wearing the typical Qunari armor and he doesn't have the Qunari warpaint. Unless the rain washed it off, but still.
I could see myself actually liking this guy if he's actually a companion. A Qunari who likes to drink and party. That could be interesting.
