Honestly, I think Alistair and Zev looked goofy just because they didn't put enuf time and energy into remaking their appearances. With them making such small cameos, and all. I don;t think they were a real priority.

Alistair in particular looked kinda crazy.

Well, if it's a Seeker fortress, I don't know if there's any limit on how big it can be. We know from DotS that they have a big ole, not-so-secret fortress, so this could just be another one...? I don't think it has anything to do with GWs... Their fortress was very different looking.

This is the one I'm talking about.

Do you think it could be a Griffon? It has pretty thick legs...if you zoom in blurrily close..I guess. It also kinda looks like the entrance to something bigger. The doorway of fort.

It's a owl ,Rapscallioness .
R2 has some close up and once she point out it was a owl ...it's fairly obvious.
You can see the owl and hand with the circle in the Cassandra war room.

And you know , eels , goat skull and swords , owls , seeker eye ...damn ...

I really feel like there is a tons of things going on in DA3.
I won't complain , gosh if I could play DA3 and put 125 hours (like I did with Skyrim ) in ONE playthrough.
I doubt that , and I would probably go crazy before the end.

yeah, I have another pic a page back that looks closer. It could be a griffon, but doesn't really look like any other griffons we've seen. Whereas it looks almost identical to the other owls in the trailer...

He also looked very yellow. When I first saw him I said: "Do...do you have jaundice? Dude, you need to have that checked out." And it might be just me, but his cheeks didn't have much baby fat if he was a Warden in DA2.

About the owls -- WOW good catch! That statue above the fortress is definitely an owl. What faction could an owl represent... I would guess seekers, as owls are known for their eyesight, their ability to "see all" and seek out otherwise invisible prey in the night.

If we are leading the Inquisition, I hope we get to chose a sigil. Which could be part of the customization of the castle and the armor of our men.

Yeah, that's quoted somewhere above as well. Nevertheless, there are probably nuggets in there that are still correct. And... we've got a while to speculate.

Here's what I think:

The Devs said to ignore the survey leak because it's all changed. Yet in the trailer, we find out that the plot premise is the same as the leak. It also has Cassandra, and they're showing Cass and the Grey Warden to show how armor works.

Edit: Forgot to add, The Iron Bull. His description was in the leak. That shot of the Qunari in the trailer is there for a reason, and I'm almost %100 certain that guy is The Iron Bull.

Then there was the picture that showed when games were coming out. It showed Dragon Age 3 was coming out in 2014. The Devs said ignore it. But now we find out that the game is coming out in Fall of 2014.

So I've learned something.

When the Devs say to ignore something, don't ignore it.

Definitely an owl...Hmmm, have they had owls in DA before? I can't remember. Any connection to what we know? Is the fist holding pinty thing that Chantry symbol? I can't really find it..and sorry if you covered this already. still catching up. But when you exit the Chantry in DA2, in the distance you see that tall structure w/the spikes like a crown or something w/fire in it.

But I can almost see it in my minds eye...from really, really, far away. A bit misty tho. Maybe I'll troll thru sum fan art and see if I can't find sumthing I think might be a similar rendering to a FB3 engine...

That's true. Most of the time he was referred to as the Knight-Captain. Most people didn't use his actual name.

Yeah, I do think it's a Chantry symbol. They had these spiky circles on the top of every Chantry in DA:O that I could find.

It's on top of both Redcliff chantry and Haven Chantry.

edit: That being said... the fist is different. Perhaps some kind of martial arm of the Chantry kinda thing??
