In one thread me and another person speculated that it could be either an alliance between the Qunari and Dalish. Rebelling against the humans? Both pretty much have bad experiences with the humans.gallopagos wrote...

I know we've already discussed how that symbol might be related to the Dalish...but I just played through the Dalish Origin this morning and I swear that (without the swords) it looks exactly like the symbol for Elgar'nan.
Elgar'nan is the God of Vengeance, and the leader of the elven pantheon. Which would be pretty appropriate for an elven rebellion.
Of course, I have no idea what the Qunari is doing there so I could be completely wrong.
Maybe the Dalish hired the Iron Bull and his mercenaries to fight for them? Especially since he seems to be so good at his job.

There is still possibility that Cullen after the events of DA2 is factionless and, even though his loyalties to Divine may still be present, he could get over them for the sake of saving Thedas. Who knows, maybe he will be primarily loyal to our Inquisitor? Everything depends where will he be at the beginning of the game, maybe we will actually save him from this dungeon? :happy:Chanda wrote...

Thing is, we technically there are three factions within that situation: mages, rebelled templars and divine loyal templars.
What's curious is that the Divine is kinda pro-mage (of sorts), but the Chantry itself isn't. So does that put the Divine in favour of the mages or templars, especially now the bulk of the templars have buggered off on their own? Subsequently, would Cullen be inclined to side with the Divine after all? He is loyal to the Chantry, after all.
I think with Cullen, it will be a choice like with what you had to make with Alistair and Loghain. If you allowed Loghain to become a Grey Warden, no matter what, Alistair would leave the party, unless he was committed to marrying Anora and be king. But he still left the Warden's party.
I can see it being with Cullen the same way. Not necessarily choosing the templars, but choosing the Chantry. If you choose anyone besides the Chantry, I can see him leaving or fighting against you. But then, who knows... He's seen both sides of the coin. His viewpoints could change between what's already happened and what will happen.
Edit: Though it would definitely add to replayability if we could easily lose our companions due to unfavourable decisions.

I want him to be a thing. It'd be so interesting to get the perspective of some who's (presumably) Tal-Vashoth for a longer period of time than the variety we met in DA2.
Also, I kind of wanna tap that

Thanks for the link. And It could be. I think by now the Dalish should be pretty desperate enough to hire a Qunari.neonmoth wrote...

Didn't we learn that the Qunari dude was just put in that scene/location for the trailer? Wouldn't that suggest that he's independent of the flags? Of course, dalish flags still don't make much sense to me on what seems to be a Seeker stronghold, tho. So ... *throws hands up*iPoohCupCakes wrote...

Here's a really interesting article with Aaryn Flynn if you haven't seen it yet. It talks a little about the plot of DA3 and some of the things we can expect.
Aaryn Flynn Article
Sounds an awful lot like the beginning of ME3 (not implying that's bad)
Start game, Reapers attack.
Start game, veil rips.
"Now deal with it."

Anyone else think "Batarian Reaper husk?!" when this popped up?

Ok, here's the thread where Allan mentions about the trailer:

I love how some people are so entitled, they think they can tell the people that made the trailer that it's not in-engine graphics <_<
I took a peek into one of the threads on the DAI forums, and it just seems to be a lot of "Morrigan looked like a haggard old witch!" and "Cassandra has a man jaw!" Out of all that beautiful scenery, the crazy detail of the wet skin of the Qunari and the vast possibilites of places and events we will be seeing, that is what you focus on?
Typical BSN attitude. Must tear apart every female character before proceeding.
Assume to see it again if more female characters are revealed.

He said he as himself isn't in the game, but he as Alistair is a different story *wink wink nudge nudge*
Holy crap here's a thought I find quite conflicting....What if, because The WARDEN and HAWKE are both poof gone...or presumde dead...what if Alistair is in the party...maybe even as a grey warden, depending on past choices in past games...
What if...he's a companion and another Possible LI....What if? And what if Cullen is there and an LI as well?!!?!?
BTW Hi all!

Vamp: No worries there, Mike Laidlaw said that they wouldn't wanna do something like that since Alistair and the others were previous LI's, as such wouldn't want to ruin things for those who potentially romanced them as Hawke or the Warden.
Ok now I feel better lol thanks!

I have to say, yes waiting till the fall kind of sucks...but if this means we'll get a fantastic rpg, that we can play on the 360 as well. Well holy cow, I'm prepared to wait till Xmas 2014 lmao.
Wish there was a way the devs could pop in here more to know how much we appreciate all the hard freaken work they and the rest of Bioware do over there
