Agreed. I actually made a list of all the things Cassandra has appeared in recently and she does seem too important to be a mere companion, plus if you plan to have her a companion role then why spoil the surprise by keep trotting her out for every DA related thing? Perhaps the reason she got her own movie is because she's supposed to just be a very important npc instead.

Maybe she's the bad guy? *shrug* Like, maybe she is constantly working against us and trying to halt our investigations because it collides w/ her own? I just don't know anymore lol  The speculation part of my brain is a burnt little crater now.

That would be a switch! Especially since we know she isn't a bad person. Perhaps she'd be kinda against us until the end or something? *Shrugs*

I would love that. She definitely would be a great and relateable bad guy. Or... she's just your frenemy/nemesis, working against you throughout the game until endgame when you realize that both of you have been played by the real Big Bad... Sandal! (jk)

Yeah, I can imagine her being a kind of enemy that isn't evil per se, but sees things differently to the protag and may support choices that in the long run are destructive.

Edit: ToP... since I'm digging pics from page 500 ^_^

There was only ever one character who took the spot light that slightly irritated me and was Tallis (although I didn't dislike her, she was just my least favourite). And it wasn't even because she took the spot light from my Hawke, I don't mind that, it was just that everything she did was always "better" than everything/everyone else.

It was like there wasn't a single thing that she wasn't good at. We saw weakness, flaws and humility in all the other companions and temp-companions in both games, except with her and if your Hawke was rude to her or refused to help she still got what she wanted in the end regardless, or would defuse it with the whole "cute" "got your nose" humour.

Still parsing the Aaron Flynn blog entry and the fact that our PC is really, really and truly called Inquisitor...

Yeah, it's one thing npc's addressing the protagonist as "Inquisitor" but it would be weird if the companion's did it all the way through the game.

Talking about Sandal, I am a bit intrigued by his statement about the magic coming back and in particular ”When he rises, everyone will see". Who will "he" be? Hmm...

For some reason I had a flash of our Inquisitor standing up in the sandstorm :)) But I guess it must be some greater entity, since it sounds pretty ominous... I like the part "everyone will be just like they were". Mindboggling.

Cullen: I-I cannot keep my feelings to myself any longer. Inquisitor, I...I love you.
PC: CALL ME BY MY NAME, B!TCH! *slap*

:lol: Do not want! Too many syllables when I think about it, even for formal situations it sounds odd. Not that I would manage "dear Warden" in intimate situations but somehow it sounds better than In-qui-si-tor, lol.

And that is exactly what would need to happen for me to be satisfied after being called "Inquisitor" during a love scene. Then I'd run out and kill some bandits for good measure. lol

Bwahahaha!  All I can think of is this...

"Inquisitor can track down your apostates. You need a veil breach repaired? Inquisitor's your  man. But humpin' and pumpin' is not Inquisitor's strong suit . . . It's the name. Oh do it to me, In quis itor. You're an animal, In quis itor. Ride me big In...quis ... itor." LOL

They can give him nicknames/pet names:

"Oh Quizzy, you're so cute!"

"Hey, Ink! come and have a drink!"

"Wheeeey, Tor-meister, how's it hanging?"

I think killing Darkspawn / dragons / demons/ Orlisians is infinitely more important than your husbands dinner. Future of the world and all. The Order dictates that he must make YOU dinner during these trying times. Image IPB

LOL I may need to try this one out! Sadly, husband will probably be saving the world as well, and we'll have to do rock, paper, scissors, lizard, spock to decide who makes dinner.

Frakking forum ate my response again. It's like I can't risk putting a smilie at the end anymore. Grrr...

Anyhoo, I think what I said was,
"LOL Sadly, if I throw that one out there, I'll have to suffer the continuation of his King Cullen pseudo-fanfic stories (inspired by real life supermarket King Kullen around here...). #tothepain :(  "

"Oh King Kullen! I am in peril! I am all out of turnips and I have nowhere else to turn!" *swoon*

"Fear not, fair maiden, for I am here! Full of turnips and ready to stuff your empty sack!"

Eeeeew. Dirty. Not sexy.
