yeah, many of the questions were a little leading. Not a great survey... but at least someone's looking at some of these questions.

Well just because it's not how *I* play the game doesn't mean it's not important to the study of how many female gamers play games and what's important to them!

Well, TBH, I got the impression that the survey might have been gathering fodder for the whole "gamers can't tell reality from the game" phenomenon. I hope I haven't done something very bad...

I got that vibe too. A lot of it was pretty harmless but then the focus shifted to questions about reality and how much like our character we feel. And the same questions just differently phrassed popped up many times. I was like "WTF?! Didin't I just answer this?" I hope it's not trying to paint gamers as dellusional psychos. <_<

If you want to post an image that exists somewhere else on the internet, right click on that image, and choose "Show image" then go up and copy the URL for just the image. It should be something like http://blahblah.jpg or .png or whatever. Then take that long url and put it between two img tags like so:

[ img ] http://blahblah.jpg [/ img ]

but without the spaces inside the img tags.

Apparently both deviant art and tumblr hate me, because the 'show picture' option is greyed out and unavailable. I really don't want to have to sign up for photobucket and whatnot to dump my art in yet another place on the web. 

Sometimes I don't think I have any business being on the internet.

I'm not sure how to do it for Tumblr, but for Deviantart, you just go to the page that the art is posted on, the one where a user of the site would see it, Place the mouse cursor over the image and right click, then you want to click 'copy image URL'. 

Once you've done that then you can come over to the BSN and put in the line

[ img] http://fc00.devianta...anj-d5po8z3.png [ /img]  

Without the spaces in the above you should get...

I would asume that it you can use the same process for the images on Tumblr, but I've never tried it soo..yeah.

Hmm, what browser and computer are you using?  Because this works for me with devart all the time, but on a PC, with firefox. On a Mac, I'm much less  help unfortunately.

OK!  Looks like you might be using Internet Explorer. Try this instead.

Go to your pic: So for ex, go here: http://tam-solo.devi...llows-372788612

I mouse over the  main  picture, right click and select Properties.

You'll see:
Address
(URL): http://fc00.devianta...olo-d65y5j8.jpg

Copy the http part, and paste here, adding img tags:

[ img ] http://fc00.devianta...olo-d65y5j8.jpg [ /img ]

(but delete the spaces inside the brackets) and you'll get:

Go to Properties. See my post above. Easy peasy.

Another alternative is... don't use Internet Explorer.

All the pictures I post here, I host here. I put them in my album on my profile and then go to the pic and right click it. Select "copy image location" and then paste it in between the image bracket tags like R2 said. Works for me.

OK, here you have the URL for the page, not the image itself.

Mouse over the image. right click, select properties.

You'll see Address (URL):
http://fc05.devianta...olo-d5nxi2c.jpg

Note that it has .jpg at the end, so it's the actual image. Highlight the http part, and paste that in your forum window, adding the tags.

Seriously, thank you all for the help. I'm really not kidding when I say I have no business being on the internet with my computer skills.
I really wanted to learn how to post pics directly onto the thread, as I am working on some new Cullen art, that obviously I will want ot share on here. I wanted to figure out how to do it first though.
