It's been years since I've played Harvest Moon. I was thinking about getting Animal Crossing, is it on Xbox 360 or PS3? Or just the DS?

Me too. It was between that, and Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time. Seeing as I haven't played that game for a good 6-10 years, I found Dragon Age a lot easier to answer questions about  Makes me really want to buy a 3DS to play the updated version of that game though. And that Animal Crossing game looks like the sh*t too. So much for using my side summer job money for a trip to London... <_<

Just the 3DS it looks like. I think it's a Nintendo exclusive title. I used to play the sh*t outta those two games! Worked my butt off to get those stinking guys to marry me in Harvest Moon! So difficult!

I seriously got the vibe that whoever made that survey was also a Bioware fan girl who was out to prove that there's actually nothing creepy about it.
Every question seemed to be phrased in such a way to make it sound like "Of course you don't actually think you and your character are the same being, do you?" *incredulous stare*

It's probably just as well. Just in case you can't tell the difference between real life and video games we want to prevent you from whacking your neighbors with bug nets, sending out letters to friends and relatives that say things like "Here's an apple send me a present aflkajskjflkslkjskjf!!!!!! bumbumbum!!" and trying to hoist up a homemade N7 flag onto your city hall's flagpole...

Harvest Moon? The most recent one I have of that game is Tree of Tranquility. The most recent Animal Crossing I have is City Folk. Both of which I haven't played in years, but I would be totally willing to play some co-op! I've got some fun games for Wii, but the stupid sensor makes me so mad I never can play for too long. I had to buy a new one, since the one that came w/ it had the cord break on me (ran the TV over it...whoops!) and it's wireless. It sucks up batteries like a friggen black hole!

LOL, yes!!!! And all the repeated questions about whether you like games that have

1.) Gender choice in protagonist
2.) Customizable protagonist
3.) Backstory for protagonist
4.) Customizable stats/abilities for protagonist
5.) Voice or no voice for protagonist
6.) Diverging plotlines
7.) Rich lore

There's definitely only two companies that do 6 (maybe Bethesda if you squint real hard) and only one of those two does all the rest of the 7. Definitely seemed like the researchers were out to prove that RPG playing females aren't disconnected from reality. Just how I took it though. Regardless of which way they were hoping the wind would blow, though (crazy or non-crazy) their bias was definitely showing!!

I've been playing "HM: Animal Parade." I bought it after renting "Tree of Tranquility" because TT was more expensive on Amazon but it had Owen in it, who I had just experienced in TT long enough to fall madly in love with. *le swoon*

I've done co-op on City Folk before and it's fun! You can visit each others' villages and stuff! I'm not sure I remember how to do it but I'll check it out tomorrow and maybe shoot you a pm or something?  That would be a blast! It's so much more fun when you can just be stupid with friends. LOL! (I'll give you my N7 pattern if you haven't made one already...)

I couldn't really give an accurate answer to a lot of those because

1.) I play different games for different reasons. I don't think a voiced protagonist would add anything to Portal 2 and it's way more important to me that I play a female in ME than it is in Mario Kart, where, eff that, I'm going to play Yoshi because seriously: Yoshi.

2.) When I replay a game I choose a different way of playing every time. One of my favorite Wardens to play was my super b****y Dalish who hated the world and just wanted to find the quickest and easiest path to glory with no regard to anyone's feelings whatsoever. I would hate her in real life and she's (hopefully) nothing like me. I killed her off at the end as a service to the people of Thedas, but she was one of my favorite Wardens to play!!

Exactly, I play all sorts of games and make all sorts of protagonists. It'll be interesting to see what the results and uses are for the questionnaire.

I also always have the most fun playing as a rogue, but if Thedas were real life I'd either be that corpse you find a priceless heirloom on and turn in for a quest to a family member later, or I'd have to have the good luck to be a mage because I am waaaay too lazy for that level of physical exertion.
