Sorry for not answering you and Lola last night. The ipod died and then I had to work. Afraid I'm not gonna be on much until I get another laptop. Anyway I thought the trailer was cool, especially since it's in game graphics/footage. It looks kinda funky at times though like it switches between Inquisition and DA2 art styles, idk.

Cassandra is awesome. Not extremely happy with her newish model, but happy to see she seems to have a big part.

What's with Varric though, is he a companion....or is it just a cameo to stir hype? I hear Hawke is dead, but that is probably wishful thinking on a Hawke hater's part. I dunno how I feel about that, I'm not keen on returning companions from a full game. Anders is okay because he was an expansion, but Varric is Hawke's buddy,I think it should stay that way.

Um, after the initial freakout and screaming (again sorry to you guys that were on Skype w/ me at the time) :P I thought it all looked very exciting! I really like how they focused it on so many different conflicts, with the overlying issue being these Veil tears. I felt it was a lot darker than any of the previous trailers, really showing how torn and screwed the world of Thedas is. It'll be interesting how they include the sense of comedy and levity they always have in Bioware games, with such an intense plot going on. 

And then there's Varric :wub:

Naw, I doubt the Warden or Hawke are dead... at least, not yet. If they do get bumped off then it'll be in-game where we can see it for maximum fan tears. :lol:

Yeah, also wondering about so many returning faces. I'm willing to put money on stirring up hype, but hard to say about companion status. I've heard compelling arguments that none of the three will be followers. We'll just have to see.

On Hawke being the body bag dude... dunno if you heard, but the devs  have acknowledged that these exact scenes may not even happen in game. That it was cut together for the express purpose of the trailer. In particular, the Qunari dude does not appear in that particular rainy location outside the trailer. Soooo... any speculation on the body bags seems premature.
