I noticed when DAO came out how much flack Alistair got from the non Alistair fans. I don't get it. It's been the same with him, cullen and carth from KOTOR and Kaidan. I don't get it....

Seriously, I feel like I missing something. I don't get why some people think that everyone has to like the same things. Man wouldn't that be a boring world if everyone just smile and nodded and loved the same things....

She's from the comics, I think she was Varric's cousin's wife or something.

Remember a while back I said that when Bioware first came out with DAO they had little animated pics of the Companions you could click to get info and vids about them. Well this was Alistairs.

Methinks the "Fall 2014" thingie has something to do wiith it.

They didn't reveal all that much and said "Oh by the way, it's not coming out for over a year" so many fans are underwhelmed by the reveal. Hopefully they'll continue to release info on a regular schedule. Closer to release it'll pick up.

R2, that one is quite a lovely piece. I'm a big fan of the 'game story art' and it's simplicity.

Oh, and I did the survey. It was thorough...

There were sum questions where I was like..woah. what? wtf? Wait am I taking a looney test? Cuz this sounds looney. Will we see the results of this I wonder? But the intro abt the person ..throwing the survey said she was in the Communications School.

Sum awkward questions were actually abt the games. I listed DA2 as my "favorite" cuz technically it's the last game I played, and I like the game. The series. BW games.

It was funny, tho cuz prior to that question I listed all the things I like in a game. Divergent story paths, yada, yada. Then asking abt DA2...lol..did it have divergent story paths?...me:"uh...well, "
Did your char. actions impact the story? me:"uh...well," Did the end change based on your actions? me:" uh...well...you see what had happened was......uh, not really. no."

I chose Mass Effect 3. Yeah, I had issues with the endings but my Shepard's relationship with Kaidan was a definite high point.

But yeah, some of the questions had me first going  then  and finally . But I managed to finish it and hopefully got the point across that while I play my game-character as an extension of myself and make choices that I would make given the opportunity, I am in no, way, shape or form feeling that the game-world is real and the NPC are talking directly to me.

Now if you'll excuse me I have to cover my microwave since it's been spying on me ever since I got home.

Hey guys-- I designed a character profile for a templar character after reading the templar perspective thread but I don't know about posting it there. I don't think anything will satisfy anyone so ardently pro-mage, but I liked the idea of him and really worked for an in-depth characterization, and would like to see what other people think. I know Cullen fans are open to the idea of a "good templar" or curious about members of the Order. His profile is also complementary to his wife's-- a Circle mage-- profile. If there is any comment or criticism you have to offer I would really appreciate hearing it.

Whelp, it took a so-so game like Dragon's Dogma to finally let me make the kind of PC I've always wanted to play. Isn't he cute 

BioWare would never let me create a character like this...
