Someone give me something pleasant to think about. Just found out that horrid excuse for a human being got his 'how to rape women' manual funded on Kickstarter. I am so angry with the world right now.
Wait, wtf? Is it supposed to be some sort of parody manual? Or full of legit?

i think Cullen or Cassandra might change in regards of w&s because if u guys remember in DAO Cullen had a 2-handed sward and in DA2 he had a weapon and shield so he might change in DAI as well? idk and maybe same thing foes to Cassandra
Wait, he had a two-handed sword in Origins? What?

Andraste's knickers, he did. I've played through the mage origin countless times, and I have NEVER noticed that.
As for the trailer, I'm still floored that's ingame footage. The graphics are amazing, I can't wait.

No, no. It's legit. There have even been excerpts from the proposed book circulating. It's revolting. If it supposed to be a parody, it certainly isn't very convincing. A petition was going around to stop it from being funded, but it went through. Google Kickstarter + rape manual and you can see the outrage. Tumblr is all ablaze with disgust over it too.LolaLei wrote...

the physical attributes of a truly haunted man. The circles definitely helped convince me that he had suffered something awful even if I hadn't played Origins first.LolaLei wrote...
He doesn't have those purple circles around his eyes in DA:O either.

Definitely, it was a nice touch. He certainly looks haunted and melancholic in both games, so I'm very excited to see his new look in DAI even if he isn't a companion.

Y'know, maybe it's worth looking at some of the "characters" in that new Battlefield game that uses Frostbite 3, that might give us a rough idea too.
well i noticed that the characters in BF lookj more realistic i assume that they use rl reffrence pics of ppl as to bioware i think they just use draw concept art

That's why I said for a rough idea. We didn't see any human men in the trailer but we did see Varric, Cassandra and Morrigan so we know what artstyle they are going for. So you use the human men from battlefield 4 as a rough basis, then mentally apply the artstyle and textures from DAI and in theory we should get a rough idea.
It works in my mind anyway.

Agree. This is always my interpretation of his dark circles. That it signals his past suffering.Twice a Lady wrote...

So there's a question... Will he still 'need' them in the next game, or will he be sleeping better at long last?

I'm talking about Cullen. I was trying to figure out if we could get a rough idea of his physical appearance in DAI by using references from the characters already shown in the trailer, mixed with the human men in BF4. Y'know, to generate conversation. Urgh, nevermind.

I'm half expecting them to be worse, but I guess it depends on what he's been doing for the past few years between games. I wonder if it is just a sign of stress/lack of sleep, or if it's something to do with the lyrium too?

@PhantomGinger: you don't see Cullen wield anything in vanilla DA:O. He two hands in darkspawn chronicles. Plus karma's companions.
Ah, I see.

You know, that's a good question. I wonder if anyone will be sleeping well with the Veil being torn.
I think it comes down to if he was getting proper treatment for his PTS. He was sent off for a while, so maybe that helped a little; but for a few weeks/months compared to 10 more years of guarding mages, being witness to more terror, lyrium addiction, having his fears stroked by the Knight Commander (possibly), and to top it all off with the Veil being torn? Mmm maybe not. I'll go with no.

yea i know what u mean sorry if it seem that i was off topic but ya , i hope they dont go too overboard with his changes tho like for example those circles on his eyes be too extreme or something like that because that would just look he got suckerpunched in the face lol i dont mind changes as long as they are not too extreme idk im a lil scared about this engine and how is gonna turn out with him tho but i like how the men look in BF and hopefully the combination of BW and the new engine will have a good outcome for him

I used to be worried, but then I decided that so long as he's in the game then it doesn't matter to me too much. Plus, if he looks awful then I'll just mod it on the PC version lol.

thats assuming if they provide us with the necessary tools for modding. From what i heard on the pax thing they said that they are not really sure about releasing a tool kit for the audience in DAI but hopefully they will change their minds.....
