Yeah, I guess we'll find out once we play the game.

I'm fully expecting them to really play on the dramatic situation happening in Thedas, and do a lot of things to hit us in the feels, simply because ME3 did a great job at the more gut wrenching and heart breaking aspects of ME3. I'm sure there will still be plenty of light hearted moments and laughs along the way too though.

One things for sure, everything will definitely feel more in-depth and detailed in DAI. They'll have been working on it for almost 4 years once it ships so that's plenty of time to make the game something special.

I'm hoping to see something special with companion/LI interactions and conversations this time round.

I personally feel that Cullen is rip for the picking when it comes to his potential companion/LI role. His backstory, character development and situation is perfect for DAI plot line, especially since we'll still need to deal with the whole mage/templar rebellion.

He couldn't be more right for the part if he tried. I'm actually glad he wasn't a companion/LI in DA2 because his story and character deserve the chance to explored fully and DA2 didn't really give us the option to do that with any of the companion/LIs.

I've definitely become more picky about my RPG games since discovering BioWare, there really isn't any other games company that can do character centric stories and deep believable companions like they do.

i agree  Cullen is such an enigma  he seems really hard to figure out  i could only imaged  how awesome it would be  for DAI  to sit there and figure him out whats he really like what are his thought  if he changed after the thing with Meridith  if he struggles with his belief  and so on

I didn't even know he was in DA:O for the longest time lol I say kudos to whomever wrote and designed him for DA2 ... talk about making a mountain out of a molehill, in the BEST possible way.

^^Thanks for the linky :]

Tbh I always wondered why da2 was called "2" instead of using a word depicting theme(s) within the game... Interesting that they say dai is developed with technological advancements in mind. I wonder how they will approach optimization for old gen consoles, i.e. what they will sacrifice. That's why I'm curious about Battlefield 4 being released, since it comes earlier and also on both gens.

Of course I had to use the opportunity and rewatch the trailer, haha. It's not that I'm addicted and see it regularly, no  Its culmination, when Morrigan says "Will you stand against it or lead this world to its bitter end" and the protagonist is standing up in the sandstorm always gives me shivers.

The link doesn't work.

I think we're safe with DAI at least, as for any other DA games, who knows.

Changing the internet to a better place? Is she refering to the Bioware forums or internet gaming..? I had assumed they might be considering adding something like the multiplayer in Mass Effect 3 into DA:I. Personally it left me wary of multiplayer as it had such a big impact on the single player campaign. I don't mind it if it doesn't affect the single player experience though. As far as the Dragon Age series moving towards becoming a MMO and removing the single player aspect completely I would rather it didn't

On another note I wonder what she means when she says  "you'll have to rewatch the trailer and see if you can find any hidden secrets" when talking about the new protagonist?

Still cringing.... uhh, to be honest it was quite a crappy interview but never mind. Yeah, I was wondering about the protag hints in the trailer that we should search for, hmm how can we do so if we don't know what was set up and what not. I wonder if Allan S. exaggerated scene staging and most of it is depicting real game events.

And I really dread all those comments about Internet, if it is meant to hint some form of social gaming. I'm not into mmo or any kind of online features so I am more worried about this interview than excited :/

Such as "fans will be so happy it will make bsn a better place"? I had a problem with understanding what she meant by that. It sounds like they are on a mission

She could be referring to the forums and community in general? I'm intrigued about these hidden secrets regarding the Inquisitor... hm.

Maybe it has something to do with the ending and that strange sandstorm thing? Are there places like deserts anywhere in Thedas? Or maybe it was just supposed to symbolize the ending of the world seeing as Morrigan is narrating about the "bitter end". The only "secret" I found so far was that copy of Varric's book (Hard in Hightown or something) on the table in the map scene :P I assume it's there just for laughs though.

There's a flag in the beginning when the camera moves away from Varric and the bodies. It has this sort of cthulhu like character in it that I don't remember seeing before. Is it a dalish flag or do they only use that green mask symbol? Not much of a lead though as we are set to play as a human. There also seems to be something behind Morrigan when she appears towards the end but it's too fuzzy to make out.
