Can anyone remember if Cullen is mentioned in the Witch Hunt DLC if your Warden wasn't an Amell/Surana?
Seems to be only for the mage origin both male and female.
What do they say for a male Amell/Surana?

I actually thought it was more of a case of scene staging than character swapping, since the knife part was so much in character for her. But now I don't know. Since they told us that none of what we've seen can be true, then how to speculate #grumbleLolaLei wrote...

That scene with Cassandra stabbing the table with those six Seekers (or whatever they were) standing around makes me wonder if maybe it was just a character swap for the trailer and that in-game it's actually our protagonist behind the table having a discussion with our companions.
Huh. I never thought of that....mmmmmmm, I'm liking that idea.
It just seems a little odd that Cassandra would be bossing people around like that if she is indeed supposed to be a companion, because that's our job. So either she's not a companion at all and is just an important npc, or that was a character swap for the benefit of the trailer.

http://dragonage.wik...wiki/Witch_Hunt In the trivia section it mentions something about Cullen in banter but now that I re-read it I´m not sure if it actually comes up for male mage. Sorry!

Okay I watched the interview, and what I could from it is indeed that I should Asunder (NO.) and that they are listening to the fans. No really, they're listening. Promise. Totally listening. HONEST.
Sigh. Wouldn't be surprised if we ended up back with a silent protagonist and straight-only love interests. That interview seriously did nothing for my excitement level!

Naw, they won't ditch the voice protagonists or go back to straight-only love interests. I do wonder how much they've changed/added based on feedback from the fans?

She does mention the question of the month thing. Perhaps that's where they've gathered most of their fan feedback? There was also the "5 things you would like to see in DA:I" thread that seemed like a good place to gather info. I would guess that people disliking not being able to change the outfits/armor of their companions for example was something they've altered based on fan reaction.
I work in a somewhat similar/overlapping field and I can kind of sympathize with the team working on the game. It's always a struggle to balance what your customer wants with what you think/know will work (or with what you want to do). That being said fan feedback shouldn't be ingored simply because they are not professional game makers. So I suppose I'm happy so long as they actually implement something that the fans have asked for into the game instead of just listening to them (which they seem to be doing).
this was also my thought, that the staging was probably also just for trailer. Table stabbing has got to be just a bone thrown to the fans. Could be anyone in that room looking at troop positions on a map.neonmoth wrote...

I would so be on board to have eels be associated with my protag. Like instead of carrier pigeons, it's highly trained stealthy sneak through water ways eels..... Yup. I'm now officially sold on eels!R2s Muse wrote...
Just catching up... Protagonist hints in trailer? I'm calling it now. EELS! Inquisitor grew up as an eel farmer. Now they're her personal mascot. ;P

@LolaLei I missed almost all of the questions of the month so I have no idea what they talked about over there. Hopefully the voice of the masses was heard and we get Cullen thoughAlthough the rest of the forum seems to have a very different take on him, lots of crazymagekiller! talk going on. It's kinda scary out there.
idk, after the events of DA2 and where his character stood on the final ground, I was pretty much convinced that they had future plans for him in the games and that he was going to be in the next one. The fact that we were never given the option to fight him/kill him kinda sealed the deal for me. It was like they were preserving him for later.LolaLei wrote...

There wasn't any questions asked that we could really get Cullen in there, but don't worry ALL the devs are more than aware of us and him, we've spent a good year making sure he's unmissable LOL!

They did do a detailed analysis of he responses in that very first DA3 thread, back on the DA2 forums when they first announced the Next Big Thing. I'd bet that's the extent of their formal input gathering, tho.

I just hope he doesn't show up in this new novel with the Empress of Orlais in it, if he does then chances are we'll have even less of a chance to get him as a companion/LI, though I have no idea how he'd plausibly play a part in it, so it's unlikely.
