It's a character swap. Originally it was Hawke at the garden party in the MotA dlc complaining about being stung by a bee, lol. I asked R2 to switch it to Cullen in commoner clothing and then I threw a few rain effects over it and messed with the lighting to make it look dark. 

It's quite dramatic looking, isn't it! I love Cullen in the rain, I've made loads of them!

Omg, I just remembered that I had another DA related dream last night. I dreamt I was one of Flemeth's many daughters, LOL! I can't remember much else other than that though.

Urgh, this is gonna be a long 16+ months!

I have a confession.

I'm now torn about whether or not to bother keeping up to date with DA news in general, or stop following it until closer to Fall 2014. On the one hand, I want to keep up with any new info no matter how small... I also kinda feel obliged to keep track of the game now that I've got my YouTube channel because everyone wants me to keep making DA related videos. But on the other hand, following its progress so closely and still rarely getting any new information to speculate on is really frustrating and makes the wait almost unbearable.

I think if I hadn't already started covering DA/BioWare related stuff on my YouTube channel then I would've probably just gone into a BioWare blackout and not touched or discussed the game(s) until Spring 2014 rolled around, then I could've just caught up with everything that I'd missed, lol. Alas, I'm stuck keeping a close eye on DAI's development right up until the bloody thing ships now.

What's worse is that I don't think we'll be getting any new info until much later this year... I know they said "very soon" but I've got a hunch that ithis won't be the case.

yea its kinda hard to keep speculations up based on so very little information that they gave us... but hopefully they will keep their word and will show us something more about it in the upcoming moths maybe? (keeping fingers crossed) that way they will kinda still keep the hype going and we would have more stuff to talk about Cullen

I desperately hoped we'd get a little more than just a trailer, even though I knew we probably wouldn't. I dunno... I'm just feeling a little deflated that we don't really know anymore than we did before E3 when we just had the survey leak to go on. The trailer depicted the description from the survey leak, so there's nothing much to speculate on there. Still, at least we know what the game looks like now.

I guess I just hoped that the reveal would give us just enough to keep our excitement and speculation levels up until the next piece of info, but I think it's probably going to be a dry 6-ish months. Honestly, I'm not expecting to hear much of anything until October. I hope I'm wrong.

yea the trailer wasnt really that much of a surprise i mean we kinda already knew that Cassandra would be in the game and such and i kinda figured that Morigand had to do something with the situation since its a mage templar theme i guess the only thing that kinda surprised me in the trailer was Varric i didn't really expected to see him again but there he was and that kinda sorta gets my hopes up for Cullen as well since HE SHOULD have a much more important role now, but anyways as u said at least we know it looks good but apart from that nothing that we didn't already knew

Yeah, the only thing that surprised me (other than the visuals) was Varric. I knew he'd likely pop up somewhere in the game but I hadn't expected to see him in the trailer so soon after being a companion in DA2/playing such a big role in the comics... not that I mind, I love Varric!

Beyond that nothing else came as a surprise, I knew Morrigan was going to be in the game and possibly show up in the trailer since there had been hints about it, Cassandra was obvious since we already knew she would be important in this new game, and the plot of the game itself we already knew from the survey leak. I kept my eyes open for Cullen, just in case, but I knew he wouldn't be in it anyway.

Honestly, I'm at the point now where I don't care if he looks like the back end of a bus. I'll take him any way I can get if it means he'll be a companion/LI! :lol:

I think that even if Cullen looks completely different to both his DA:O and DA2 models, or looks kinda rough (like Zev and Alistair did in DA2) I'd get used to it. I find that once I hear the new character model talking and acting/behaving like said character then I get used to it pretty quickly.

Like, I was a surprised at how different Morrigan looked in the trailer but as she was talking etc the new model fit perfectly with her personality and attitude. If that makes sense?

I was comparing Varric's DA2 model to his new DAI model yesterday and aside from his hair looking darker (which is probably due to the lighting) he still looks much the same, just a lot less cartoony.



I mean, the textures on his skin with the scars, burns and stubble etc is absolutely stunning! Based off Varric's new appearance I'd presume that Cullen's new model will have followed a similar transformation.

yea it kinda does make sense but idk i still kinda hope that Cullen doesn't turn out like some sort of an abomination even with Alistair the changes that thay made to him in da2 didn't really suited him that much in my opinion i mean he was a completely diff person lol he looked more Chinese to me where as Morriga was still recognizable and Cassandra too and Varric as well , but if they DO provide us with some sort of tool kit to change that if we wished that thet would be good

Lol, you should've seen the state of Morrigan's face model in DA2. Fortunately they never used it. Out of the three well known characters shown in the trailer, I think Cassandra had the most drastic transformation. When I saw it in the trailer at first glance I wasn't keen, but when I went back after and paused it to get a proper look her face is actually rather lovely, her new look grew on me pretty quickly to the extent that her DA2 model looks kinda weird to me now.
