So this is kinda funny. The tumblrverse is atwitter over DG's tweet about Cullen's last name because someone reblogged my post of it from last October. Of course, silly me clipped the date out of my original screenshot, so I think there are folks thinking it's new info... *gulp* A sign that DA3 info is too sparse?

And the bad news just keeps on coming. No Steve Valentine for DA3 ... so far. It's follow up to this earlier tweet.

OK, so I'm still in catch up mode from traveling so just finally watched the Jessica Merizan interview with reddit. I don't think I saw nearly enough squeeing about her not-very-veiled hints that Morrigan is going to be wearing a BALLGOWN somewhere that isn't Fereldan! "where would you wear something like that..." Well, we already know it's the identical dress from the Orlais fashion pics in WoT... but she notably called it a BALLGOWN. I think ball is a go for DAI!!

And since excited squeeing about a ballgown needs an illustration... let's go with this one again.

lol i seriously dont know what to think anymore about DAI in general , apart from the Cullen thread all the other threads in the dai section depress me it kills me that BW didnt released more DETAILED info about the game instead of showing us a trailer that we already knew what was gonna be ppl making all kinds of speculations good and bad mostly bad about the game in general and it really brings my morale down on this upcoming game

I wouldn't get down. We saw something that was awesome, and now they have time to make a great game! Given the new timeline, it's unsurprising that we didn't see more details. And, to be frank, the DA3 forums are always depressing, IMO, which is why most of us never go there...

yea i think i will stop looking at those forums cuz otherwise i would just go insane, the only reason i went there was to see if some of the devs or anyone would MAAAYBE give out some more lil tiny tiny details about the game, but all i see are ppl complaining about stuff like me with mp lol im never gonna let that go but ya ty for the Cullen smile, and  tbh and hoping this wont sound to shallow or anything this thread is the only thing that keeps me going

R2: Don't worry about Steve Valentine's comment on twitter. Chances are they just haven't called him back yet to do the cameo dialogue. There's over a year left until the game ships, so he might be in it yet.

Also, he may be staying super quiet if he is after Greg Ellis got in trouble for babbling about Cullen.

He is TOTALLY confirming Alistair will be in DAI.  
He is talking about real life Steve vs game Alistair. I am 100% sure Alistair with the voice of VA Steve Valentine will cameo DAI.

Yeah, the waist is weird... so glad I'm not wearing it in real life LOL

The funny thing about that tweet was that someone screen capped it and posted on Tumblr. It got lots of likes and retweets. I did the same. Got one like. IT WAS MY GODAMN' TWEET!

That seriously bothered me, too.  And kind of makes me wonder about the people doing these concept art pieces!!!

I'm sure at some point we will get a showing from either Alistair or Anora. The alternative is that someone says "The Fereldan king/queen is dead" or something, indicating that the world is truly in chaos. Though it would be terrible for them to kill such a popular character off screen like that.

But the fact that they made Alistair's fate so variable has to make it really difficult for them to incorporate him into the third game. Not that that seems to have had an effect on whether MORRIGAN will be included *rolls eyes*

I'm so tired of fanboys. Tired of an industry that bends over backwards to meet their pervy needs.

I dunno given the discontent with Alistair's appearance in DA2... if I were them, I wouldn't include Alistair just for a cameo. But, that's just me. I mean, I still squeed when I saw him in DA2, but doing the same in DAI just seems... gratuitous. With Morrigan... eh, I'm hoping this means she has an important role to play.
