You know what I'm hoping for. Companions giving you gifts. And something that you can maybe put on and see it on your character. Like a necklace, scarf, ring whatever...
That would be cool, I was always kinda gutted that when the companions in DA:O gave you gifts you couldn't equiped them or anything.
.... like. That templar ring in the DAI promo. "Cullen! I want it! Now!"
I hope if Cullen does give us a gift (if he's a companion/LI) that it'll be something that belongs to him. If he happens to give us a quest item if he isn't a companion I'm gonna equip that sh!t immediately and refuse to unequip it, even if it's really crap lol.
I donb't think Templars own much, so I'm assuming it would be something of his that means a lot to him.

You know, this puzzled me, too, and honestly, kinda bummed me out. Maybe Anders expected me to go out in a blaze of glory with him, so I didn't need any tokens to remember him by...? LOLLord Xendria wrote...
Yeah, it was real disappointing how in DA2 everyone got a gift, but you. I still wonder why Anders wanted Varric to have the pillow instead of the PC.
Origins gave us all something meaningful in a romance. With the new engine and CC ideas, I don't see why they can't bring that back and make them wearable.
Maybe he thought that it wasn't a good enough gift for hawke...or he thought that Hawke would clue in right away that something's up.

I'm not gonna lie, the first time I saw that scene had me all "Oh GOD, he's lost the few marbles he has left, hasn't he? That quest to remove Justice actually removed HIM instead, didn't it?! Justice is now the one in full control, isn't he?! WHAT DID I DO TO HAWKE'S BOY?!"
...And then the Chantry blew up and my jaw dropped.

Before I clicked the link I was all "isn't Nathan Drake a dude Lara Croft?" That is hilarious, though!
And thank God the Tomb Raider reboot makes Miss Croft a much more realistic character.

Oh my!He looks WAY to young to be prancing around like that! Like something you'd see in some pedophile's porn stash. Then again that can easily be said about some of versions of Lara as well. I feel unclean.

Too richHad to tweet it out. Makes a fine point, and yet also makes me yearn for such a game to be produced
I found a male pawn in dragon's dogma wearing nothing but leather straps. It made me rather sad to have to let him go...

Still.. Am I the only one who is a complete hypcrite when it comes to stuff like this? I honestly like a game less if there are women everywhere in it wearing skimpy outfits, but I can't say I'd mind if they where male instead.
On the other hand, I wouldn't want ALL males in games wearing skimpy outfits (or even that many of them), and I probably wouldn't use revealing armor on male companions more than for occasional lulz..
What about you guys? Would you put Cullen in leather straps, high boots and a cape if you could? I know I'd at least try it out.. you know, for science.

I'd do it for "lols", like when I make my protagonists run around in boots, a stupid hat and nothing else. Or that time I dressed my entire party (including Shepard) in the pink and white armour in ME1.

Dragon's Dogma has bikini armor, but the stats aren't that great and you have to switch out for better armor eventually, which makes sense. "Yes, you can wear this but you'll die easier." XD

I can be a hypocrite as well when it comes to armor. I hate it when female protags have bikini armor because it makes no sense...and yet if it is available in a game, I'm like "ohhhh" and I put it on my character. It must be my inner skinny girl wanting to show off. XD

LOL me too.
I think it's because a lot of the armour in DA games looks kinda rubbish so I end up putting them in some skimpy thing because it's the most attractive looking outfit available.

Well, not to get all social sciencey, but if there were better representation of women in these games, just as many women in skimpy armor as regular clothes, then we wouldn't care who wore what. So, no, I don't think it's hypocritical. It's your game.Commander Kurt wrote...

And... my resounding answer of YES reminds me of this beaut by ladyshamen from ages ago.

What happens when an overly tired, stressed (and slightly twisted) mind gets both Cullen and Rainshocks armor.
" Are you sure wearing THIS will help us win?" (from DA:O, but hey, Cullen is Cullen)
