Out of curiosity, what class in the DA games do you think gets the best outfits? I'd say rogue, especially in DA2.
Agreed!

You know, sounds like I'm the odd man out, but I really didn't like most of the rogue outfits. They're a small improvement over DA:O's xena skirts, but most of them sorta looked like clown/acrobat outfits to me.LolaLei wrote...

Yeah! And favorite rogue armor is Dragonhide Mantle of the Predator, rawrrr! Very sexy and cool armor.
And the rogue DLC Black Fox's Jerkin, love it.
I like to put Isabela in a version of the Flint Company Cuirass.
And lastly I find the rogue Champion armor the coolest.
Rogue outfits seem to have the right balance of not being too chunky/bulky (like the warriors), and not just plain ridiculous like the mage outfits.
OK... admittedly, this one is not representative! LOL

but... "And now for my next trick! I will juggle four knives, a ball and a herring! Blindfolded!"

I think my favorites are still the Champion armors, then the Warden armor from Legacy for all classes, and then, curiously since mage isn't really my thing, I like this one.

On a more serious note, I really hope they go into details like the style of armour verse the country we find it in. If we really will be able to explore places like Orlais, Tevinter, Ferelden and the like, I hope the style of armour we find will reflect the country we find it in.
Or something like that~

well the pic i just posted could be some sort of wannabe Orlesian-ish "armor" sorta thing for a rogue i suppose it wouldn't hurt to have something like this for a female rogue
That is not armor though; that is ... bedroom attire LOL
R2 went and posted two of my favorite rogue armors... Black Fox's Jerkin and Arms of Mac Tir

I could see this for Orlesian rogue armor, with the ruffles and corset. Now I'm looking forward to seeing feminine Orlesian armors for DAI.
Harlequins were rogues, right? Their armor had ruffles.

I can't seriously imagine, or imagine seriously running around in my Inquisition dressed like a Harlequin, though.

Since I always play as a lady, I've always been partial to the Mage class for best outfits, aside from that set of robes you get from Malcolm in the Mage pack add-on, I like the way all the robes look. Not sure how much I'd like the robes playing a dude tho....
Is it wrong that I'd want my male Protag looking the manliest of all?
My least fav outfit? That shorty Xena-esque Rogue thing. ( Someone posted Cullen wearing it further up the page)
<3<3<3<3 And thank you, Nikki, for the love and shout out, much obliged! <3<3<3

D'oh! No offense, MMG! LOL Admittedly, the female version of Arms of Mac Tir looks a bit better. The male version also sorta looks to me like eighties armor with the collar flipped up.motomotogirl wrote...

I do appreciate the real armor that looks like it would provide some protection. I'd probably try on corsets and ruffles for grins and giggles, tho.

I had similar concerns about my manly man mage. I just couldn't put him in skirty robes, so I kept him in the Act 1 starter robes until I found another pants-version of robes.Twice a Lady wrote...
Omfg! I would wear Harlequin armour just for the novelty of it! Such a bizarre outfit to run around in.

Maybe that's why none of the templars recognized Hawke as a mage until much later, he was wearing pants! lol

I kind of just liked that it was pink (Arms of Mac Tir). My Eirik Hawke was the first to wear it, and he was pretty macho. I just felt it showed how secure in his manhood he was, and what a snarky bastard, too. "Yeah, that's right; I'm wearing pink. Got a problem with that? See these blades? Yeah, didn't think so!" *snerk*
It does bother me why the sleeves seem to be ripped halfway up the arm though lol
I will say this, rogue armor does seem to go just a step too far at times. Like three buckles, okay, I can see it. Six... you are pushing it. TWENTY SEVEN BUCKLES? COME ON. (A slight exaggeration, but yes lol)
I think ultra girly non-practical corseted armor stuff should be DLC only and not part of the main game; it is just too weird and fetishy for me. However, if they do include weird stuff like that, they'd better include the male version of Lara Croft outfit, too. lol

The harlequin outfit actually makes me mad because it is not actually an outfit or armor... it's an entire person. So on my xbox I can't go and give Hawke or Isabela the harlequin outfit because it will simply replace her with the entire harlequin ensemble, including the head. So now everytime I see that "outfit" I just feel rage inside LOL

I think that generally speaking both rogue and mage armor look much better on females than males in DA2. I do like them better than the ones in DAO though (except for the legion of the dead set, Alistair looked insanely hot in that thing).
