Hey all! Once my ME3 was fixed...I went back to playing DD. Lol!

I have the original DD. I must say, I feel totally pissed on by Capcom. Dark Arisen comes out with the whole Bitter Isle thing. Cheaper stuff. All the dlc's...which I bought already...they were crap. The entire original game spruced up. The whole thing is cheaper than the original. And I can't even get just the expansion. I have to buy the $40.00 thing.

I know. I'm glad I didn't have the original game. But I only paid 30 dollars, not 40, for DD: DA. Are you on xbox?

Isn't weird how the other character threads in here have completely slowed down. Granted, the companions of DA2 won't be companions again in DAI, but I thought they'd use the thread to discuss DAI and/or how said ex-companion may have a cameo or play a part in it.

I guess that's the plus side to Cullen only being an npc in DA2, we've got the next 16+ months to speculate about his possible inclusion, be it as a cameo/npc or (hopefully) companion/LI role.

I've also just noticed how much Cassandra's outfit in the trailer has changed in comparison to her concept art shown at PAX last year. Here's hoping Cullen's will have changed a bit too... wouldn't mind seeing him in black now that Cassandra isn't wearing it.

wel just BASED on the survery leak and the tweeter pic of Greg Ellis im willing to hope that he will be a companion but once again not really sure about it ugh i hate BW some times for not giving more info then just "oh look how pretty the game looks" type of thing... 16 months is  A LOOONG  time to keep on speculating tho...without haveing any futher information

Well, they said they'd give us some more information this year... gawd knows when though, could be any time between now and December. Originally they said "very soon", but now they're saying "at some point" which sounds to me like they've changed their mind about how soon they were gonna tell us more.

Maybe we'll get lucky and they'll let a little bit more slip at PAX Aus.

Urgh, I wish I had DA2 on PC already then I could do a bunch of Cullen head swaps and make a load of fan videos. I've got loads of ideas as well!

yea.. well just as  they once said "oh ya we're gonna realease da3 in fall 2013" and it got delayed by another year i dont really trust BW with what they say anymore  regarding DA  till i ACTUALLY  get  to see/ hear something REAL  about it u know what i mean? That and with some of the discussions  from the devs that  they are not planning to release a toolkit  is kind of a bummer for the modders.. but i guess we can learn to live without it...

swear to god that BW is worse then the military with their secrets of the game , u would think that they are building some sort of a super nuclear bomb or something and they dont wanna release any info to the public

I can't help but feel like they're setting themselves up for a massive info leak though. The longer they hold out with the info, the higher the chance a scorned ex-employee will spill the beans, or someone will try and hack the company... or eff knows what.

lol normally im against leaking and hacking and such but inthis particular case im sooo rooting for one of those right now im going insane thingink about the game i keep trying to play other games but nothing compares to DA i even still play DAO and DA2 but that still makes me think of DAI even more  and SPECIALLY ABOUT CULLEN:unsure:

I wouldn't want a full script leak (like what happened with ME3), but a leak containing the protagonist's details and his/her background options would be pretty cool. Of course, I'd also like to know if Cullen will be a companion/LI or not, but I'm worried that I might not like the outcome if he isn't.

yea i would be pretty disappointed too if AFTER ALL THIS TIME his not gonna be a companion... BUT im still trying to be optimistic and still like to think happy thought that Cullen will be a companion (please god please be a companion) but... if not.... i guess theres always the choice of face swapping with the other companions just like with Anders lol

LOL, well we did a good job of getting his name out there waaaaaaaaay back last year, but we may have been too late even then... I guess it depends on when they finally had the companions set in stone. I know it's definitely too late now. Regardless, it's worth trucking on since if nothing else we might get lucky and end up with him as a DLC companion, or get him in DA4.

DG said that regardless of whether Cullen is a companion/LI or not it wouldn't be due to the fans or the haters. I only hope that he and the other writers saw that Cullen has as much potential as we did.

Technically they said 'Fall 2013 is a TARGET' which doesn't make it a promise. In fact David Gaider warned against taking it as a promise. So... I actually wasn't taken off guard that it was pushed back at all. I always took the Fall 2013 date as an estimation on their part, but not as a sure set thing. I'm actually glad, considering more time means more attention to detail. c:

well yea cuz since this will be a mage templar thing he should have EVERY reason to be in the game and even as a companion idk i kinda have a gut feeling that he will be in DAI just dont know as what tho lol sometimes my gut is right lets just hope this is one of those times well that and the pic of Greg Ellis recording in the studio soo.. yea we def know that he will be in the game but if his gonna be in a dlc i think thats pretty much all that i will play screw the rest of the game ive been waiting for this man for too long

I hope they release mini stories for the companions this time around too. They were so fun to read, and I loved seeing the individual writing styles of the Devs who had written each character. It let me find out that how Mary Kirby (I think it was her?) wrote her short story for Merrill is a lot like how I write stories and character pieces; third person but still influenced by the POV of the character.

Oh he's definitely 100% in DAI, that much I know for sure. What we don't know is whether that's just as a cameo, npc or companion/LI role.

I guess we're lucky that we're getting him for a 3rd time at all, not many people can say that about their desired character.

I'd love to see the stories in comic form, I doubt they'd do that though.
