yeah, twitter don't count.
But it's DG! It's most important, LOL!
well unless he expects u to write him a story i think ur good
Hehe, I'd just get R2 to write it for me!
I really don't think we can read anything like this into GE's tweet about E3. Honestly... I don't think he would know anything about their marketing strategy and whether he's in a given trailer or not. His tweet sounded more in keeping with his others, underscoring that he can't talk about anything without getting in trouble. Again!rapscallioness wrote...
However, just him thinking Cullen may show up in the E3 trailer is telling. Right?
I agree that I see him as believing very firmly in the Circle as a method for managing the mage situation. At the end of DA2, he was overthrowing Meredith, and saving the surrending mages, because of her actions -- her abuses of power -- were not what the Order stands for. Not because he thinks the Order is wrong to put mages in Circles. I also agree that he would still view fraternization within the Circle as wrong...Commander Kurt wrote...

Okay, Lola. I'll stop restraining my giddiness. Squee! lol! I have a tendency to do that. I hate getting my hopes up only to be dashed. So I've become a cautious optimist.
Although, I much preferred being a blind optimist....whatchagonnado?
Soooo, this is what I would like. I like to get Cullen kinda early. Not too early cuz I may need some help rescuing him from the dungeon! Ha!
I'd like him to be a bit more hardened, but no in the ptsd way. More like someone who has seen more of life. The good and the bad. And now has a more balanced and firm idea of who He is.
Cuz even when he was saying that bit abt mages not like other ppl...the whole thing made me feel like he was parroting his brainwashing. He got burned by the mages and then it's like he went completely to the other side. Embracing the edgier philosophies of the Templars.
It reminded me of times when random ppl are interviewed on tv abt some issue, and they literally parrot back sum bs they heard on sum talk show. The Talking Points. The propaganda. That's what it reminded me of.
The reaction to what he went thru. Trying to find some safety in those ideas. But it doesn't strike me as his nature. I think in the end he came back to his self. But things had to get really bad. Pushed to the point where one has to stand up and say no. That can take alot.
Then if the Templars kinda rough him up a bit..I think what would emerge is a very strong character w/ a very strong sense of themselves. Cuz even w/him standing up, it could just be Meredith. What I'm hoping is that he grows to see serious problems within the Order itself.
Not really Viva la Mage Revolution, but just.....oh,...more Eagle eyed abt things.
Ah, I would really love to see the Cullen gets in trouble story thread. Lol! I hope his recruitment would be more interesting than hey how you doing. The divine sent me to help, or whatever.
I dunno, I kinda like his flaws. They're a big part of what makes him interesting to me, trying to understand where he would come from having those views. I also feel like he grew into his skin rather well in DA2, the change in the end didn't surprise me at all since I actually saw him as someone who was pretty confident in his beliefs.
My guess is, he does believe firmly in the circle and in keeping mages and templars relationships very rigid. Honestly, I'm hoping he wouldn't romance a mage for this reason. This is something that he's learned the hard way, and I think it would be logical for him to stick to it. It's not propaganda, it's experience.
Oooor, in the wake of two circles crumbling to dust at his feet he just goes "You know what? F*ck it! This isn't working."I'm genuinly intrigued to see where they take him.

Hmph...wish they would make Leliana's Song free instead. Never played that one, but not interested enough in it to shell out money.
I thought it was interesting... but not at the level of, say, MotA or Legacy, IMO. I've never played Golems of Angarak or Darkspawn Chronicles (wasn't THAT into DA in olden times...). Worth it??littlenikki wrote...

It's a bit funny, but yea I don't mind explaining.
I was standing in line to talk to the guy at the counter, and he is trying to hold a convo w/ me while helping these other ppl. Pretty much just ignoring them. When he gets to me, I get my game and he gives me this very intense stare and says "have a beautiful day" I'm just like "um....right. Thanks man."

Men are creepy. Period. At my conference, I was in the elevator alone with a man, and after some generic small talk, he seriously gave me the once over and asked in a (presumably) seductive voice, "You going to the pool later?"
I was so taken aback I can't even remember my response. Should've been a backhand lol

I feel like I need to speak up for my gender here, but I'm not sure if there's anything I can say that won't be construed as creepy in and of itself. Even that.
