It's not that they don't wanna play old gods, it's that we physically can't because Morrigan's child is a male, whereas the protagonist always has a male and female option. Also, not everyone took the dark ritual so that kid doesn't exist in everyone's playthrough. Most importantly, her son is only gonna be about 8 - 10 years old, lol.

If all of that could be handwaved... if she couldn't had a son OR daughter, if she somehow managed to get an old god soul into the kid no matter what you did, and if the child has been through a time warp and is now 18 lol... I actually think it would be really cool.

Mostly because I saw someone do a grown up pic of Morrigan's son, and he was ADORABLE

What makes you think this? The only thing I've really heard him say directly is that he likes Cullen and likes the arc he represents. I think wanting to torture the fans is independent of his love for any of the characters. LOL

Sooo OK. Totally off topic. Like, way more off topic than normal, but when did it happen that you can't just watch Fourth of July fireworks from your backyard? Who decided that you have to go to a special amphitheatre with choreographed music?? Finally considered taking almost-five-year-old to see some fireworks tomorrow... but apparently I'd have to sit with 10,000 people in a stadium. Or drive for an hour for an event that starts over an hour past his bed time. Humph. Well... no fireworks for us.

Really? That's odd. In England people let them off all over the place... but generally our fireworks displays are pretty crap.

Perhaps it's for health and safety purposes?

Yeah, I can see the safety reasons limiting how wide spread they are... but it seems like the crazies here on Long Island are doing fireworks all the damn time.  Like, every tom, dick, and harry firehouse has a carnival and, boom, I'm  hearing fireworks shaking my windows. But, I can't just, you know, sit outside somewhere and see some. It has to be 'an event' or something. Grumble.

Ah, yeah, that's all just about the fans and him bracing for the worst when it comes to backlash. But seeing his more recent comments about the expected reaction to the reveal trailer... I'm starting to think that's just his standard response to fan love... duck and cover. LOL

Illegal, of course! *snort* Only specially permitted people can do them. Probably why it's all special events and charging money and such.

Of course, limiting them makes sense given the chaos that was the beaches in California when I lived there. Fourth of July got so crazy in Santa Cruz they cancelled the fireworks show... leaving everyone to just do their own in an unsafe way. LOL

well that link was very nice to read i just dont like what DG said on that twitter post about  Cullens name being on the tumbstone weather he was trolling or not i still dont like the sound of that lol but ya the stuff that was on thats site was pretty hopefull i know his in the game 100% but  as far as him being a companion thats what i worry about and if he is would he be the red shirt companion or the untouchable one like Aveline ... ugh im going nuts i wish they  would spit out some more info that or i need to ask my husband to block my computer so i dont obsses over it so much lol but i think that would make it worse

Sorry to poke my nose in. New to this thread but not to Cullen love. Dat Templar. This has probably been brought before but I was wondering what ya'll would like to see a possible romance with him involve. I'm keeping my hopes low so that I don't get crushed yet again.

Since he was clearly in love with Amell, would you want that to be an issue? Especially with a mage Inquisitor or would you rather it not be mentioned at all?

That question popped into my head while playing Witch Hunt yesterday. Going back to the Tower after being gone for so long only to hear those two NPC:
"Too bad Cullen's not here."
"He's not still carrying a torch for her, is he?"

All the times I've played it, and I never heard that. Lord, that 'romance' is heartbreaking.

No I would absolutely not want Amell to even be mentioned lol *yes everyone knows I hate Cullen x Amell ). Plus it was just a crush, really, not the sort of thing a mature person pines over for 10+ years.

As for what I want, so long as he stays alive and isn't OOC, AND his character arc has continued, deepening his character... I'll be happy

I think what would truly upset me the most is if Cullen's character regressed and he was presented to us as just a mage-hater or a blind tempalr/Lambert (is that his name?) supporter.

That really would upset me. Not that I'd take the streets or even write out an angry tweet, but I'd be deeply disappointed.
