I know its more of a Cassandra/Leliana thing, but the Chantry has that line.

Danny, that's a really cool quote -- don't know if I've ever noticed it before but of course you'd pay more attention to Cassandra stuff than I would.

I'm out for awhile, guys. My dad's in the hospital so I'm driving down to be there for the weekend. Nothing seems urgent but they're running some tests and keeping him overnight. Have a happy Friday for me!

The only reason Cullen hate on the forums and elsewhere bothers me is that lately the devs are so paranoid about pleasing the fans (after DA2 and ME3 debacle, despite the fact that I loved them both, they are controversial) that I'm afraid they're willing to take Cullen out of the game if they think including him would anger enough people. Now I don't think this is something the writers would be down with, because no self-respecting writer bows to the will of the people, but I can see it being a higher up decision.

And of course I also can't abide Cullen fan hate; it's usually grounded in misogyny.

idk  for example the same  hate (sort of) kinda goes to the multiplayer thing as well   but just because 110 ppl voted against multiplayer doesnt mean they wont include it, and also since i presume that they have already payed Greg Ellis to do a VO  for Cullen i dont think they would have waisted their money for that just to take him out. Thats what i think atleast... idk i could be worng

I don't think they will take Cullen out. DG doesn't seem to the kind of person to pander to fans whims. If he is integral to the story he'll be there (companion or not).

 So I'm watching LOTR, and suddenly I realize that Boromir (Sean Bean) is totally the older, long haired version of Cullen. At least in looks, not so much personality. That does not bode well for his survival rate...

Yep but if you look carefully I did say I knew that the writers themselves would never do such a thing (I have too much love and respect for them as writers to believe they would) but that it would be a higher up decision, something based on marketability.
