Terrible  I'm really sick. Fifth time this year, too *sighs* So apologies if anything I post seems grumpy or curmudgeony... oh, also add that to the fact that the school needs to pay me 1200 dollars back for a business trip I took in June and they still haven't done it. I literally had 30 dollars in my account until today (pay day). Grrr.

Yep but if you look carefully I did say I knew that the writers themselves would never do such a thing (I have too much love and respect for them as writers to believe they would) but that it would be a higher up decision, something based on marketability.

I don't know, but didn't higher beings interfere with ME3 hence the ending? If so, maybe they learnt their lesson.

No need to apologize; I tried to phrase that in a way that didn't seem like I was yelling at you  Obvious fail. Anyway, I have no idea; I think those are the rumors, but who really knows what goes on behind closed doors? All I know is that the company is desperate to produce a profitable product. The artists, the creators... they still want to create something special and wonderful, but corporations are only interested in making money (naturally) so sometimes these things clash.

I was just kind of voicing my concern regarding all the Cullen hate; I know it won't influence the writers though. If anything, I get from DG that he's a stubborn soul, and also prone to strikeback, so if someone complains about something, he will put it in there just to spite them lol

Now a random personal question to you, Newschmoo :innocent: When you hire out the really awesome people's pawns, do you give them gifts? I feel like anything I give would be a joke just becaue they're so powerful, and what am I going to give them, yet another foreign knife? lol But I feel terrible returning the pawn empty-handed. Thoughts?

Aww I didn't think that! Sometimes I need things pointing out to me (... well actually a lot) due to lack of concentration :happy:! 

I give everyone a gift. I have given higher level pawns something like a wakestone/shard or something that can enhance their weapon/armour. On one occasion I did equip one of them with an armour item cause it was different. My equipment is quite paltry in comparison, but at the time I thought that maybe it could be useful. In any event some of it is worth some gold or can be gifted along. I have just entered the Everfall so there may be useful stuff in there!

The pawns are awesome and they have been very generous.  I really like the game, quite social and it's nice to see screenshots of your pawn in another person's game.

Oh okay; I didn't know that about wakestone shards  All I know is I have to collect them to give to the sad pawn in the Everfall lol Otherwise, I have no idea what to do with the darn things. A lot about this game baffles me, seeing as how I'm a real noob to RPGs and the lingo and whatnot. But I am so enjoying the customization and the pawn swapping. DA could learn a lot from this game!

Wakestones are handy, not only for the quest. Three shards make one wakestone. You can use a completed one if your Arisen dies to revive him or if an NPC does (so handy for escort quests - wish I had one when Ser Maximilian died, had to go back to a previous save!)

Also they are worth something like 30,000 gold if you sell them, so if you have a few you can make lots of money. Using a Dragon's Gaze is useful for locating shards if you are in Gransys. I tend to use the waypoint markers on the map after use, so I can locate them on my travels. I can gift Arya with one.

Every RPG is different and I'd be lost without the internet!

Oh wow, whoever was using my Vega pawn (MMG pretty sure you mentioned it was you) and gave him all that armor, THANK YOU!!! He looks like a proper tank now! I also had a funny moment when I rested at an inn, the screen loaded up to him saying "I hope I pleased you Master" to my character. The exact moment I burst into giggles and realized my mind is just way too much in the gutter.

I'm glad Vega likes his new stuff  And yes I get that same feeling when they say that, though I have a female pawn, so I just wanna say to her, don't debase yourself like that!! You are Woman, you are strong! You are no man's slave!! 

Then I have naughty thoughts of making a really, really hot male pawn

I took a glance at that thread right after I posted it here to see if anything like it had already been done, but I wasn't sure if that thread was even active enough anymore to bother. If anyone else wants to post it, feel free!
