If they're directly translating the original English, he thought it was weird that it wasn't the gender neutral "Es" instead of "Sie" so who knows if that means something (like they're referring to the feminine castle) or is a mistake.

For ref: "It wasn’t hidden, it was uncontrolled. Like the power you now command."

You knooow, this does kinda remind again of what another said...think it was Lola abt the "Dorothy and her ruby slippers" analogy.

The power has always been there, just never realized/utilized.

Ah, and that Nightmare demon which they said was a nightmare to fight (according to HD3 blog on wikia)--can randomly appear Behind you during combat. Prolly shrieking.

Omg. Sounds like that demon is gonna try and azz shank ya....lol!

But man these demons are gonna be tough. And that one w/the Club. That's gonna be a problem. I hope they give us sum good tactics and abilities to combat these things.

Same.  Varric, Cassandra, Morrigan... I just ended up getting the worst luck when it came to the trailer, since those are three characters I'm highly indifferent to. (Morrigan I'm a little more inclined to dislike, but I don't think she's badly written and I definitely respect her fans.) 

The DR... again, something I'm largely indifferent to. It's Alistair and Morrigan's kid... didn't really affect my Warden one way or the other, except of course that it let him live. 

Waiting for something about the game to be revealed that actually pertains to me and the games *I* played  Not that I'm annoyed or anything by what's been released. Just largely indifferent SO FAR. I'm sure I'll get excited about something sooner or later.

I don't think it's so much before and after as it may be just an updated version of the castle for concept art. But...who really knows at this point?

The random rider: That looks like a Halla to me. A young Halla. And the rider? Idk, but what is this rider holding? It looks like a magic staff. Whoever it is, they are observing us from afar. I can see the teeny tiny lil dots of ppl crossing the stone bridge thing in the distance.

So, the Rider is more interesting to me than the castle.

A new companion maybe? I would think Elven cuz of the Halla...but it's difficult to say really.

I love Varric, but I'm not too keen on him being a companion, either. Just cuz we had a whole game w/ him already.

But hey, if that's how they wanna go w/it...I'm totally fine w/ that, too. Varric was a great anchor in a world going mad.

Definetily is, don't get me wrong.  I did the ritual myself actually. Left with Morrigan through the Eluvian to so I can't wait to see what they do with that. 

@MMG I love those three characters, even romanced one, but I"d be lying if I said I want Varric and Morrigan as companions. They are extremely important characters to my Hawke and Warden respectively and I'd feel odd if they joined the group especially after playing such major roles in their games.

Cassandra is relatively a blank slate though and she seems important...though the fact that she has her own movie makes it harder for me to want her in the group.

Yeah this is how I feel. I don't mind DLC  characters like Anders or Ariane or temporary companions like Merrill, but major components like Alistair or Varric I'd rather they come up with new guys unless super necessary.

The DR is seems like it would be such a huge deal, it'll be interesting to see how they handle it since it's not something that everyone did. And even if you did, there are three different variations on how it exactly happened (Alistair, M!Warden, or Loghain) 

At this point, I'm kinda excited to see how they are going to handle anything. Hell, I'll even take a Schmooples update.

She's probably trained him as a spy. He could hide under tables and eavesdrop.

Wasn't there some dialogue in DA2 you can get that says Schmooples was left in a Chantry?

I think the DR will play a part and possibly make getting the "best" ending easier, but won't be necessary. That depends on whether or not we have an ultimate ending though.
