I agree that they probably wouldn't change Cullen's iconic look. When I play modded DA:O or DA2 with Cullen as an extra companion, he never looks quite right when dressed in other armor or normal street clothing. (or mage robes!)

I always expect him to be dressed like this:

Nah nothing confirmed, I was just talking hypothetically as it looks like we will be getting a Seeker companion. And I agree, Cullen does look odd not wearing the Templar uniform. I hope if he is a companion/LI they'll give him an awesome customised armor, one that's different from all the other Templars (like how Meredith's had different armor to the rest of them)... hopefully it won't be quite so clunky, so that our character can get up close and personal with him without it looking daft.

Well, I was watching old reruns of Teen Titans earlier today (it's kiddish and silly, but I liked in back in 2003-6. And we can't all be Justice League or Young Justice), and I came across the episode "Spellbound". I was watching it, and then I heard Malchior speak.

Immediately, I was like; "He sounds familiar. Where have I heard him before . . . no, Holy crap, it can't be!" (One google search later) "0_0 It is! Cullen! You play a dragon wizard! Irony|!"

Isn't it ironic? He plays a dragon wizard in TT, and a Templar (anti-magic dude) in DA. :-) I've always liked Greg Ellis, too.

Protagonist: Cullen... what are you reading?
Cullen: Uh.. I erm, was just reading this book written by Varric Tethras... I met him once or twice, he was a friend of Hawke's
Protagonist: Yeah? What's the book called?
Cullen: "Fear and Lothering in Las Thedas"

I'm with meanieweenie. In public, it's Thedas's version of Osprey's Men-At-War and Tournaments Illuminated. In private, it's well-thumbed romance novels. The clean kind. I can't shake the feeling that he suppresses his sexuality intentionally and is very, very careful about exposing himself to things that might shake his composure.

Yeah, I'd been thinking things like histories and biographies, so sorta like war and strategy books, I suppose going with that slightly stereotypical, 'men prefer non-fiction' type of idea.

I also still love the secret romance novel fetish idea!
