Ah Vamp, that sucks. Maybe she hates Cullen and doesn't know how to tell you she's artistically blocked?

It's a good panel though, very long. I'm 35 minutes in so far.

Bwahaha!! On Hard in Hightown: "Canonically, since it's in the trailer... Cassandra is a fan."

OK... it sounds to me like the Qunari-dragon connection is actually a joke. It sounded from the other write ups that that was serious...

Oooh, interesting that evil!Chris made an explicit reference to seeing touchstones from the books... hmmm...
It's when he's giving the usual shtick about DA being the story of the world, not one person, and how you don't need to have played the other games. BUT you might see things that if you've played the games, read the books, you'll know where that comes from. He mentioned the books at least twice, and Patrick Weekes's new book as well.LolaLei wrote...

Did he? I must have zoned out on that part. It would make sense that maybe we'd get to use them if the Inquisition is sending "agents" off to do different things (like the survey leak said) etc.

So, I'm fascinated by this "impact the environment" idea that Patrick Weekes talks about. How this can be a "morally neutral" choice. I wish he could have given an example from a past game. All I can think is that it's like reinforcing your Keep in Awakenings, which ends up having consequences for whether your crew survives.
Could be. I keep trying to imagine it being more.... I dunno, environmental. Like, as Inquisitor you institute some kind of martial law and then you see the ripple effects throughout the game, like anyone who looks like a mage is suddenly being questioned in the street as you pass. Something like that.LolaLei wrote...

The part where he talks about the dead bodies in that village that Varric is looking at in the trailer? That kinda reminds me of Redcliff, if you drop in and then leave without bothering to do any of the mini quests to help then a cutscene triggers with the Darkspawn hoard approaching the village and when you return everyone is dead because you left without helping, lol.

Soooo another thing. Patrick Weekes talks about how his new book is important for fleshing out an important 'something' involving Celene and Gaspard. and "people die". Does he mean particular people, and I'm just forgetting something? Or is he just referring to the fact that they're at war with each other?
Yeah, but which people? Or does he just mean that there's a civil war going on (i.e. lots of nameless people dying)?LolaLei wrote...

I thought it was refering to Asunder when he said about people dying. Presumably people die in this new novel too though, lol.
