Hey all! Haven't been on the site in awhile, just popping in to see if there is any new news. Been quite busy these last few weeks. Hubs and I found out that baby number 2 is on the way a few months back so I've been battling nausea and fatigue like crazy. Officially at the end of the first trimester, so I can finally say that THIS is the reason I don't mind waiting so long for DA:I to be released. As it stands, both kidlets should be sleeping through the night by the time the new game rolls around, meaning I'll actually get to play it!!!! Whereas if it was released earlier, I'd have to put 'mommy's game time on hold'.

Congratulations Twice a Lady! When is your baby due? My husband and I just found out that we're having a boy. Another boy. So this mommy's game time is definitely going to be on hold, because chasing after a toddler and taking care of a newborn is going to be a lot of work.  Plus I'm starting my first year of college next month. On the bright side, I'll be so busy that inquisition will be out in no time.

It is strange that he would promise us news if that's the case. Haha, I can't help wondering if bioware has posted someone on Greg Ellis watch duty. The Man probably got to him before he managed to spill the beans. 

I don't think he promised DA news, tho. Just news. It may be this "F O R S A K E N" thing he tweeted last night.

Also, never doubt your writing. It's so much harder doing it well than people think (I'm a very picky reader), not just writing the words but creating the characters and the story, taking the readers on a journey, and you are really very good at it.

They usually don't, though, before the press conf (and esp when it comes to red headed stepchild, Dragon Age). Of course, they've already announced DA:I, so I don't know that that there would be new "news" about it so soon after...? Here's hoping, tho.

Doesn't look like a statue to me, looks like a Seeker or Inquisitor.

No, the image on the the right hand side of the pic. Embedded in the ruins. Not the person standing in the archway.

Even at the bottom of the statue, if you zoom in, it's feet are strange. It's hard to tell cuz that part seems eroded, but the feet are kinda birdlike.

Actually w/the feet (and I could be wrong. but they protrude and wrap in an odd way), it reminds me of ancient statues of Inanna. She had owl/goose feet.






edit: hmm, it may just be sludge, tho. On the concept art.

Between this and the "forsaken" thing, I'm going nuts.

What is up w/ "Forsaken"? You think it has anything to do w/DAI? Cullen? Or sum other project?

I highly doubt Greg Ellis was talking about DAI, he was told off once before for letting things slip, so he generally avoids any knowledge of the game... even if he is only joking when he plays dumb.

Well, now I keep seeing the seeker eye on the chest of the statue, but that may just be me looking for it. Honestly, I didn't thing much of it, assuming it was just any old tombstone, but you may be right in that there's more to it. 

That line, though, is really interesting. Why bring that up if that history isn't going to come into play, but who was betrayed? The elves? Not really "long forgotten"... Are earlier inquisitors really ancestors? I'm thinking it should be referring to a people.

Idk, Kurt. I can't see the symbol for shyte. Argh. But the armor in general looks like Inquisitor armor.

You're right tho. The idea of "ancestors" makes me think of a race of ppl. Not an org. But it's got the same armor.

Maybe the Inquisitors were betrayed? I have no idea, but it looks like an Inquisitor to me.
