Guess who just bought DA2 on the PC! I'm gonna mod the **** out of it and do some Cullen fan videos on my other channel to tide us over.

Hmm, what do you mean by "other channel"?

The statue even has these old, crusty vine looking things that look like they're tying it down. Holding it somehow. Imprisoned even.

Commander Kurt: I have a second channel where I only upload Cullen fan videos that I post up in here. I didn't want them on my AbilityDrain channel since that's my professional one, lol.

Maybe it's a Chantry statue? I remember Mother Petrice's robes had a hood, but it was always down. But I don't see any other signs of that being an area that was once held by the Chantry.

And thanks for the congrats, rapscallioness! :)

It looks like the Inquisition's heraldry, but I also see two swords crossed beneath a crown or something.

lol, mmg. yeah, we're just hangin' out. nothing missed. well, except for me wondering desperately abt that greg ellis tweet that simply said "FORSAKEN". A tweet for each letter, no less.

DA related, or sum other gig? I wish I could speculate on it, but w/out knowing if Greg got a small green light to dribbble a lil teaser...I got nothin'

Now, if it was Cullen related...oh, the imagination could go wild w/spec.

sorry i will go a lil bit off topic here for a moment but i want something clarified, why do ppl say that Alistair "never loved u" because if u romance him in the game and marry him he clearly wants u to be with him , i was just curious because i've hard alot of ppl saying that and i was wondering why

Oh, it's just a joke that David Gaider said once for a laugh and it just kinda stuck.

(Was catching up and saw this, so I just wanted to add to the story! :D )

Apparently, if I remember right, a crazy fan wrote an angry email to DG, complaining about the snowglobe you can find in Awakening. They thought it was a snowglobe with a miniature Alistair and Anora, when it's actually a miniature of Cailan and Anora. So DG started the joke about how 'Alistair never loved you', and someone even made him an Alistair and Anora snowglobe because of the joke, that has 'Alistair Never Loved You' printed across the bottom. It was hilarious and amazing.

(And I'm still alive, as you can see~)

Well so far I learned GE is a Liverpool fan, recently quit smoking, and simultaneously follows news on the royals as well as mocks others who do so xD

Forsaken... could reference some new MMO called Forsaken Worlds...?? http://en.wikipedia...._War_of_Shadows

Yeah, I think reading into anything GE says as DA related is the road to madness. He was properly chastened over the whole Cullen VO leak thingie, so I doubt he'd go there, even if there were something juicy for him to say. Like we said a few pages back, what does he really have to leak anyway. Is he in it, yes/no? Well, we already know it's yes, to some extent. We'd like to know companion/LI, but anything else is a plot leak. You really think he'd be giving plot leaks, assuming he even knows the plot, esp after what happened?

The Forsaken thing could also be this new show(?) in development, that meanieweenie found.
http://www.imdb.com/...ref_=fn_al_tt_1 If it's his "big news" hopefully he'll be less obscure in the near future.

Sorry if I sound cranky... not quite through first cup of coffee yet... :o

Here's a higher res pic of the new concept art, from the twitter thread.

I'm afraid I neither see bird feet nor inquisition symbol on the statue. It is odd, though, that you can see legs on a robed statue. There might be the hint of an eye on the chest (or just a branch)... but again, even the original Inquisition folks were Andrastians, who burn their dead, which just doesn't seem to go with the grave/bones idea. The hooded outfit on the figure in the arch does evoke the other 'heroes' we've seen in the concept art and leaked survey.

To be honest, this location actually reminds me the most of this other shot from the E3 presentation. Although here the statues are different. Fully robed. Andrastian/Flemeth-ian/Meredith-ian pointy circlet. Arms crossed in different spot (e.g. are these female figures, vs. the other shot is of a male figure...? :P)

Them concepts are so pretty~

The statue of the cloaked figure in the top image makes me think of the cloaked figure holding the dragon sword/helmet, but the devs have already said that figure isn't one to pay too close attention too, haven't they?

Hmm...

I think it's hard to properly speculate without actual context, to be honest. I mean we could claim that figure means anything or represents anyone, especially with all the important figures in the Dragon Age lore, including the different religions and history. It appears to be more masculine, though, so at the very least we know it isn't Andraste or Flemith.

...And the figure standing within the arc looks like a Blackguard from Warhammer.

At the very least I don't think it looks much like a tomb? It could be, of course, but it looks more like ruins of a castle or a city than a tomb to me. It might be the tower that makes me think that way, though, and there's nothing to say a tomb can't have/be a tower. (Just look at Pokemon! XD; )

The statues in the second picture remind me of the four or five that you find in the Circle Tower in Origins.

As an aside I'd like to say how much I liked rapscallions quasi collection of Inquisitor pics in the twitter thread.

LOL Exactly. I don't think we can read too much into anything at this point.

It just occurred to me that if there was a betrayal the betrayed would likely not be buried with respect, but instead left there or maybe buried instead of burned as a kind of spit in the face.

Nice, I thought they were familiar. The images make me think they have the Inquisitor pegged as a rogue this time around. Which is awesome because then I'll have a full set as my Warden is a Warrior and  Hawke is a Mage.

Weeeelll, we also don't know that that's the Inquisitor. If you look through the WoT, the Chantry symbol and Seeker symbol have shown up in concept art since DA:O and in some weird places (like the Seeker qunari, and Chantry sun on one of the dwarf paragons). It was fun to speculate that that's our Inquisitor, but far from a done deal.

A snow globe?  Hmm never found one.. is there a specific mission for it ? Or one of the side quests?
