If you look through the WoT, the Chantry symbol and Seeker symbol have shown up in concept art since DA:O and in some weird places (like the Seeker qunari, and Chantry sun on one of the dwarf paragons). It was fun to speculate that that's our Inquisitor, but far from a done deal.

LMVAO Not saying it doesn't mean anything... just that it probably doesn't mean what we think it does. When there's a fine line between intended lore and accidental artistic flare... assumptions can lead us astray.   [[and get repeated out of context all over the boards until folks think it is lore...]]

Apparently, if I remember right, a crazy fan wrote an angry email to DG, complaining about the snowglobe you can find in Awakening. They thought it was a snowglobe with a miniature Alistair and Anora, when it's actually a miniature of Cailan and Anora. So DG started the joke about how 'Alistair never loved you', and someone even made him an Alistair and Anora snowglobe because of the joke, that has 'Alistair Never Loved You' printed across the bottom. It was hilarious and amazing. 

(And I'm still alive, as you can see~)

A snow globe?  Hmm never found one.. is there a specific mission for it ? Or one of the side quests?

a) It's Cailan and Anora, not Alistair and Anora. That would be an easy mistake to make, seeing as these fellows look so much alike, except that it's only described in text.

It has nothing to do with your ending. It's a souvenir from Cailan and Anora's wedding many years ago.

LOL the actual rl globe is pretty funny,  but as for the in game one in the tiny pic i dont see any figures  just a dark lil ball with sparkly things in it..

@ag99: you have to read the description. That's why it's so foolish the OP didn't get that it's Cailan and Anora.

oh lol well yea in the description in the wiki actually says : Tiny figures of King Cailan and Queen Anora, idk where he/she got Alistair from it... unless the description was different in game...

Omg I just about DIED when I saw that snow globe! XD

So I've spent most of the evening using a Cullen head swap on Hawke so that I could record the footage and make new/better Cullen fan videos to kill the time between DAI info releases. It's nice to see him pulling other facial expressions beyond "concerned", "awkward", "angry" and "melancholic" but it's really weird hearing the wrong voice coming from his mouth.

Also, it's kinda made me feel a little bummed out, because at first I was getting all excited watching "Cullen" running around Kirkwall and imagining how awesome it would be in DAI with the new look and storyline to really have Cullen as a companion/LI running around with the new protagonist and actually learn/experience things about him properly... But then I remembered that the chance of us getting him as a companion/LI is probably slim to none and now I just feel kinda "meh" about the game again, lol.

I have a horrible gut feeling that he'll be an important npc who we'll interact with sometimes (kinda like he was in DA2), but this time the new protagonist would get to flirt with him a bit (to appease the fans), and then right at the end (if you're single) he'd be like "I wish things were different. In another life maybe we could've had something." *Does puppy dog eyes* *kisses her/his hand (maybe)* *walks off*.

... And then I'll literally punch my controller through the TV and throw an almighty strop for months.

She just misread the description. It's all those a's and i's in Cailan and Alistair.

Well, the fact that GE let slip that Cullen is in the game in some capacity turned out to be more than we had originally anticipated, we were all of the mindset that he wouldn't be in DAI at all. But regardless, I'd rather them go all in and give us him as a proper companion/LI or just not bother at all.

I don't like half measures. Like, sh!t or get off the pot, y'know? I'm an all or nothing kinda gal.

true but sometimes you have to take what you can get regardles of  weather we like it or not like in DA2 when i 1st saw him  i got so excited the 1st time i thought we were gonna recruit him  but nope...  i was a lil dissappointed but at the same time i was happy to see him again and looking hotter then ever lol

Lol well ur not the only one trust me, sure I would pe pissed if we dont get him as a companion again, but I suppose BW can't please everyone and thats with all gaming companies.  But it is what it is ... atleast we know his in and to me for now thats all that matters , I guess the only thing that would upset me the most is if they would kill him off in a stupid way, or for no reason just to get him out of the way

I don't mind if he's killable, so long as we get the option to save him. That being said, if his death was important to the story and was done well then that would be ok.

My preference would still be to keep him alive though.
