The changing of hair colour due to contact with otherworldly forces is pretty common in fiction. There's even a trope for it: Locked into Strangeness.

The main character of the Dragonbone Chair series gets the name "Simon Snowlock" after a portion of his hair turns white from being splashed with dragon blood. Ash from the Evil Dead series gets grey hair after being confronted with the true form of a Deadite.

It's funny, this talk of Evil Dead and such, because the demons in Dragon Age have always had a bit of a Deadite feel to me. I actually thought Redcliffe was a whole plot reference to the Evil Dead movies.

I'd love to know when we're supposed to be getting this large influx of "proper" info they've been promising to give us "very soon" since E3. I'm starting to think that there won't be any real info until sometime in the new year.

Ah, see that could just be the european reps going to it, rather than the Edmonton lot. If that's the case then I doubt they'll tell us anything.

I know E3 only happened in June, but I feel like we've been starved of info for a lot longer... maybe because we already knew all the stuff shown in the trailer, I guess.

I'm getting fed up of waiting for new info. I just wanna know what the deal is with our new protagonist and how 'n' why we've been chosen to lead the Inquisition. I know I'll definitely buy the game, but I'd still like some proper details before I decide whether or not it's worth me buying the super expensive special addition, or if I should by an Xbox One so that I can transfer over my Xbox 360 saves (my Xbox 360 completely died today, so I can't buy it on that anymore lol).

I'll buy a Xbox One either way, my hubby and I like to play games with friends on Xbox360 so i'm pretty sure we'll upgrade asap

Tbh, I have a feeling showing us a piece of concept art here and there is their idea of "proper" info.

Yeah "soon" is the annoying part. I mean, if they're doing a proper info reveal at one of the conventions then they might as well just tell us that, it's not like we need any other details beyond "yes, we will show/tell you more at *insert convention*". If not, then should probably stop saying "soon" or "the very near future" if they aren't 100% sure about when they actually plan to tell us.

Then they need to get a better marketing team, or at least stop with the "soon" thing.

Little bits and pieces are nice, but it's not the large chunk of information they promised us after E3.

I distinctly remember seeing a few devs tweet about it, not to mention that people who done interviews with them at E3 actually quoted them as saying that we'd get a flood of new information in the next 2 to 3 months. Granted, it's still early August, but that should mean that anytime between now and September is when they start releasing actual information.

I think for me personally the most important thing to find out (at present) is details on the protagonist, since that's who we'll be playing as throughout the whole game, and even though I'll most likely make a custom Inquisitor (unless I find the female/male default to be the most attractive/unique) I really want to see what the default male and female look like in-game so that I can start to get a feel for them.

I need to know what the name will be and why they we'll be leading the Inquisition so that I can start to warm to the protagonist as a character in her/his own right and come up withy own head canons with the backgrounds (if provided).
