So I've decided, I'm going to buy the super expensive special edition (if they do one) and get it on the Xbox One, which I will also buy. AND I'm gonna buy it on the PC as well. And then get a sword of mercy tattoo.

Thanks for the thought. It was... er... thoughtful.  On the other hand, transient participation in the quest of a character I liked only by association doesn't really offer much in the way of consolation, if you know what I mean. 

Still, I can be happy for you. I guess that's something.

Yeah I know what you mean. I'm still sorry...maybe it's because I've been investing my hopes in characters that had a sure in.

Still we never know his participation could still be somewhat large...ish. he could be Vivienne's second in command as leader of loyalist mages or he could give us a few quests via the rebel mages camp. It's hardly a consolation, but I'm trying...

I guess I'm saving the big I'm sorry for just in case Cullen is just a cameo....

I'm going to be playing it on 360, though lord all mighty, I am dying to see what it would look like on next gen. But shoot, that's going to cost sooo much. I've got other things I need to save up for, sadly.

Cullen just being a cameo would...kill me. Stupid me, got my hopes up all high and mighty. I kind of don't want to know about more companions, just in case he doesn't get named. Man, I can feel myself sink just thinking about it.

At this point, because of that teaser at the end of the article, I am thinking there's no way he's "just a cameo." He is either a major NPC/quest giver OR an actual companion.

God, can you imagine if he's a companion but not romanceable? I would be so disappointed. Even worse if they made VARRIC a LI. Aghghg. The other LI would have to be... like, Ryan Gosling himself lol

Indeed! When I read about the elves this morning, I was all, "Oh my GOD!" *hands to mouth* ... Then I got up and walked around my apartment. Like, just walked... needed to move. Then sat back down and pounded the keyboard... result was the multiple fangirl posts you all had to suffer through.

Then I go to work, and see the tidbit about Cullen.  Picture this: I'm in my office, the door is open... I read this thing about "a certain knight-captain" and cry "Cullen!!" aloud... hands to mouth, yet again. Luckily, no one was around >.> Though they likely heard me at the end of the hallway.
