I'm leaning towards human, but I was originally wrong about her skin tone. I thought she was white in the reveal and I
thought she was Hispanic esque in the concept art.

I was starting to wonder if it was subscriber-only stuff... but it says expicitly on the public site that we can expect the next update today... Hmm... Well they still have quite a bit of Aug 7th left today.

 Yeah he said that the protagonist was the only[/i] survivor of the veil rip.. does this mean that a certain area that our protagonist was in wascompletely destroyed by the rip or something?

I barely paid attention to the talking because my eyes were so busy scanning for any signs of our boy lol

The looong shot of the concept art that has the (presumably) inquisitor stabbing the table (Cassandra's teaser scene) had a lot of interesting characters gathered around. I could easily make out Cassandra. Varric's gloved hands on the bottom right perhaps?  Vivienne almost cut off to the right.  Then there is a tall, smriky looking bald elf... who I think could be Dorian! Hmm.  Then two other gentlemen I did not recognize.

Sounds like it. He also said people will be suspicious of us - I wonder if we are in a certain position of power or something.

The guy on the right side does have Varric's nose and gloves.

I thought the elf could be Dorian.
