Well, whoever it is he's handsome. 

We know Cullen is in the game, possibly in that PC + Companions pic, but I'm starting to wonder if he isn't a companion at all but instead the leader of one of the factions. I know we've discussed that before, but...eh. I don't know. I refuse to let my expectations get too high.

If we're confessing nerdity...I swoon every time I see Cassandra or look at Vivienne's robes/gown....followed by a squee of sorts.

So if scribe girl, Vivienne, Cassandra and Sera are companions, surely they aren't all romanceable? (If that pic r2 saw with the companion inventory thingy from the vid is correct).

Also I totally haven't been able to sleep at all it's so warm here. I don't expect this bodes well for my interview, I don't know how I'm going to be be able to remain alert and awake enough not to **** everything up.

Is it just me, or does is feel like based off the four women, Varric, probably Iron Bull, the Grey Warden, Dorian and obviously a few others the party is gonna be bigger than usual?

I'm a little worried about just how many of these characters we can romance because I don't want the romance arcs to feel thin or shallow due to the sheer number available.

Well, maybe they have had enough time to flesh them all out. I don't think they would skimp on the romances just to have more options. I'm sure the writers would choose fewer, better romances over a bunch of weak stuff.

And the leak (which has been surprisingly accurate...) did say up to 10 companions, right?

Yeah, I'm hoping the extra year gives them plenty of time to flesh things out. The Scribe may be another Allers...hopefully she won't have to follow us around writing down all the times we fail. 

And for all we know they may have cut out a few people, despite the accuracy of the survey thus far.

If the 'scribe' is another Allers, she sure won't be following my party around!

I think they will stick with the four romances. The alternative is a more ME3 route where you can romance non-party/companion members.

Oh my I take a little leave from the forums and come back to all this new info! Happy happy! Good thing I stopped by this thread too or I would have missed the screenshot of the concept art with the possible Cullen :B That has to be him! If not then they must have given him a clone like Shepard or something. Not that I would mind the more Cullen the merrier!
Also the rogue (?) guy between Cullen and Cassandra has a delightfully orlesian beard!

Lola, I'm loving their expressions, too. I can't help but think they focused in on that pic in the video because it tells us so much about the characters. I love that it's the original concept of the scene we saw in the trailer, which is "the Inquisition planning" or whatever Cam said at PAX Aus. So there you go! Rag tag group of inquisitors, fighting amongst themselves about what to do. LOL And our PC taking the lead. I still want to call him Gary after littlenikki's comment about him copying Cassandra.

Do you guys think Cullen is still associated with the templars in the game? I'm looking at the concept picture and his armor doesn't seem to have any templar symbols. Or have the templars changed their look and shed any symbols after rebelling?

On a side note the map stabber (our inquisitor?) really loves his symbol Only appears on his clothes three times and twice on the map.

I know. Hard to say. IF that's really him, it doesn't seem that he's a templar any more. Which would make sense on one hand, since the Inquisition is beholden to none, so if  you join up, I would presume you should divest your previous allegiances. BUT Cass still wears her Seeker stuff. Hmm.

Watch it's just random concept art that means nothing!

My current pet theory about Scribe Girl is that she'll be our stay-at-home assistant. Like Kelly or Traynor from the Mass Effect series!

So it also seems to me that there are a lot of possibly romanceable characters, which is worrisome, because I know DG admires how ME3 handled that, with some straight, gay, and bi romances. I got lucky with ME3 because I wasn't interested in any of the straight romances, but I will beat my TV screen if they do that with DAI. I can just see it... Everyone including Cullen is straight while Vivienne and Dorian are the gay options *cries* 

*deep breath*  *tells self that won't happen*  Anyway, remember that Aveline probably seemed like a perfectly romanceable companion, only for fans to find out she is married (and even after her husband dies, she's still not interested). So that could be the case with some of these companions.

I hope the next character reveal is male; they seem to be favoring the females lately.
