At first I thought scribe girl would be like Traynor in ME3 in that she'd hang around your base doing paper work based stuff, but if she's listed as a proper companion then I can only presume that she'll actually be out in the field with us.

I would assume that Cassandra will be a possible love interest as well as Vivianne as from the info we have so far they could be seen as filling the whole good girl/ bad girl combo in some ways. I hope there will be more than just two though. I would imagine that Scribe girl might be filling a role similar to Traynor in ME3, maybe taking care of running your castle when you are away and contacting people when it's time for meetings etc. Would be interesting to have someone like that for a romance option too! I'm a little confused over this Sera character, is she the elven archer? Has there been any info on her so far?

I would love that!  Also isn't Varric a little small to ride a horse? Or any dwarf for that matter. Could he have a little pony?

We can only guess that the elven archer lady is this one from the survey leak:

Hard to say who's a "real" follower or not. Here's the pic again.


Something to point out, noted by dragonaging.tumblr.com, is that the companion inventory pic has "Dragon Age III" at the top which means the info is slightly deprecated already. So could the companions have since changed like the title? Who knows.

Gosh, it seems we've heard about so many companions now... I would hope it's more than 2 + 2 romanceable. But it is hard to speculate. Vivienne does seem like she could be a hard nut to crack based on the, what, four sentences we've had on her. I think Cassandra is the new golden girl for DA3, like Morrigan was for DA:O. So I'd be really surprised if she's not romanceable. LOL which reminds me of this I wrote for page 2000.

He only had a brief description in the survey leak, and there was a qunari in the Fires Above trailer that people assume could be The Iron Bull.

Because different questions asked about different things in the survey. None of the descriptions were linked to the pictures. They asked what you thought about each individually.

So this is why we don't know the names of any of those new companion pics, because no info was given on any of them. We only think the beardy dude is a Grey Warden because his picture matches the customization ones from DG's blog. Same with Cassandra. We can only guess that the elven archer girl corresponds to the description they gave of Sera.

That seems unnecessarily cruel, tho. I mean, if they went to the trouble to cover up stuff they don't want us to see... then just cover that up, too.

edit: alternatively, they could now be sitting there going, "Oh. Huh. Is THAT really still on the wall? Wow, that's old."

Thanks for the pic R2s Muse, that cleared things up for me!

Looks like there are finally going to be some dark haired men as (possible) love interests if either Trident guy or/and Grey warden end up being LIs (in addition to sweet little strawberry blond Cullen!). Pretty much all the guys in DAO and DA2 were blond(-ish) with amber eyes.

They're not giving us a  time or anything like that, I think they just post whenever. The first info was released early in the morning for me but the next info was released  during the evening.
