Sounds like it. So presumably even if we're not a topsider Dwarf we'll still be topside in the area where the veil rip happens.


So it will probably be more like Mass Effect, where we have a backstory specific to our class, but it only comes into play in minor quests and mentions. Not something we get to play through beforehand.

Sounds to me like the former, that all the reactivity will be due to our race/class, and that there will be no varied backgrounds. Presumably if we each had a different background for our class/race, then we'd expect folks to react to those happenings. Instead, we'll get reactivity to who/what we are.

Not sure if that makes sense, but it makes me hopeful that we get lots of class/race reactivity this time. Like, crazy anti-elf racism or pitchforks turned against our blood mage.

Maybe it's the dozens of bodies that Varric comes across in that trailer, and then he hears a shuffling as the lone survivor (us) makes themselves known. Cue Varric and Cass dashing in for the rescue.

I think Cam told us that that town in the trailer only gets decimated based on a choice we make. I don't know that I'd expect our big choices to happen during the prologue already.

Ohh thank you for the laugh. It was really needed this week.

Wish they would just tell us that Cullen was a companion... *sigh*    how long will they make us wait. Oh well, carry on having fun everyone.

Lol, I was going to join the serious discussions on sexuality in video games, a possible demo and the details of the veil tear from a few pages back, but I see the time for that has passed..

I'm actually loving the bearded man already. He's always flailing around, gesturing wildly, and I think he's adorable. Getting the afore mentioned man sandwish in DAI will actually make me get the X1 just for that scene.

Mmm, maybe with a chocolate/maple syryp toggle.. Having meaningful choices is important in a rpg.

Oh, I didn't get it. There were 3 positions but I was unfortunate that the 3 people who also had interviews already had experience working within a university setting. The guy said that if it wasn't down to them then I would've got the job... which is gutting, but never mind lol.
