I love Cullen's armor in this shot - it's so "Spartacus" - like.

Anyone know where it can be found? I looked in Dragon Age Nexus but didn't know what to put in the search bar. :P

Did you try searching for Rainshock ?

You know what's funny? When you're doing Enemies Among Us and Cullen helps you fight the abominations (or you help him... whatever), after he gets out of that weird blue buff mode, he sticks his sword _in the ground_ and then attacks the abominations bare-handed!

Well, the others' answers are funnier... but he's not using his bare hands. He's using grenades because he's a commander-level boss.

Did you  guys see this?

On twitter, someone asked about Mike Laidlaw's comment about a five game arc in the last GI video. (emphasis mine)

Mike Laidlaw: I have no idea what I was talking about there, frankly. There's no plan for a specific, limited number of DA games.

Name removed: I think you were just making the point that Bioware had an idea of where the DA world was heading lol. No biggie.

Mike Laidlaw: Oh, we totally do have an arc planned for DA, but if I said it was five games, I must have misspoke. More ongoing.

Name removed: I understand. Your comment was actually "5 game plan (pause) and even beyond." Ill take as much DA as I can get!

Mike Laidlaw ‏: that's closer to reality. I've been careful; lots of folks think we're trilogy due to ME. Not so!

Ugh, also:

Name removed: Hello Mike! Just wondering, is this one character or two different? http://i.imgur.com/hjvXMG0.jpg

Mike Laidlaw: Time will tell.

Huh. Maybe I've got my graphics settings turned down to low for that to register, because last time I did that quest, he was standing there flailing his empty hands as if he were swinging his sword. But that computer barely runs the game, even on the lowest settings. It's possible that it was supposed to be a grenade but the VFX was disabled.

Hey all! I've been gone from the forums for a while and come back to a whole bunch of new stuff. Its extremely relieving to know we dont have to wait any longer. An I went a few pages back and didn't see any screen shots of the videos shown. But I swore I saw Cullen in 2. Almost definantly in one and possibly the other which makes me almost certain he is a companion now.

But thats it, just wondering if anyone caught that and thought so too :)

Oh yeah, it was caught and debated to death :P But without BioWare officially confirming it, you never know.

Yes, it's too soon to say...  When we asked, Mike Laidlaw said, "only time will tell." His standard answer, apparently.

Name removed: I'm willing to answer 100 questions or more at the beginning if need be for the save information.

Mike Laidlaw: For importing your world you mean? We'll get some details on that out sooner rather than later.

Other name removed: I hope we're able to import our saves files from the current gen (PS3) to the next gen (PS4).

Mike Laidlaw: We're looking at that quite aggressively. You're not alone in wanting to jump platforms.

So hopefully we'll hear about saves soon...?

Would make sense that they try to get that info out asap, since the next gen consoles are coming out this year.

Damn, trust me to wake up late with a migraine when I need to film. I've popped a bunch of migraine tablets and hopefully it'll fade off. Still at least I've got all night to film with no interruptions too.

Yeah. The sooner the better since I bet  folks are making purchasing decisions now. (as I completely guess since that's not me and my PC-only world! LOL)

Presumably it'll be something they'll do prior to the latest next gen consoles hitting the shops.

Oh gawd, I couldn't stand Lily. I only helped her because Jowan was my Warden's friend and he was happy with her.

If we ever go to Aeonar I kinda hope we run into her.

She was reeeeeal quick to turn on the love of her life-- but then I have Jowan biased. So disappoint that we couldn't recruit him... he might have given Alistair a run for his money if he was recruitable and romancable. I have such a soft spot for Jowan.

Yeah, I mean I know she was taught to fear blood magic, but that was the "love of her life" so you would've thought she'd have been a bit more upset/distraught before hitting the "get away from me blood mage" thing. Mind you, I guess her VO did only have a limited number of lines to portray all that.

Agreed, no Lily love from me either. I'm actually sort of hoping we'll get to see Aeonar in DA:I. The more I think about it the more likely it seems.  After all if the templars have rebelled against the chantry then who is left guarding the place? (I assume that the templars were the ones doing the guarding.) Maybe because the place is spiritually unstable it might offer the inquisition a lead as to what is going on. Or maybe we get to pick up a party member there like Jack in ME2.

I would also love this. I saw an interesting post by DG recently about how Aeonar is specifically used to test people. So for ex, Lily was sent there because they weren't sure about her posession, and so if she had been compromised, she would be certain to crack at a place like Aeonar, where the Veil is so thin. If they were certain about her, they would have just killed her.  Somehow that just makes the place seem that much more cruel to me.

On who's guarding it, good question. Honestly, I keep imagining the templars not giving up control of any of their stuff. Lambert pulled them away from the Chantry so he could deal with the mage threat as he "see[s] fit". So if I were them, I'd keep all the Circles and the prisons and use them in my crusade.

A part of me wants to hope we'll be locked up there if we're a mage or something (or have to break in if a mage party member gets sent there). I think I just like prison breaks, though. I can never do the 'wait for help' option at Fort Draken because I find breaking out myself too much fun. "Wait for help, you ask? Screw that, man. I ain't no damsel! Your princess is in another damn castle."

I didn't even know for the longest time that you could wait for help, so I never saw all those awesome cutscenes of your friends sneaking in. LOL

Then perhaps our chance to see Aeonar might come in the form of going there to negotiate with the templars? It should make for a pretty intimidating base of operation and I doubt a lot of mages would like the idea of fighting them there.

Also the whole idea of using the prison to lure out demons is interesting. Wouldn't letting a prisoner become an abomination just make them more difficult to kill? Then again if they were possessed to begin with the spirit/demon in them would fight for it's life/ it's host's life anyway right?  But then again killing everyone suspected of being possessed right away just to see them go down without a fight (and thus being demon free) would create a bit of an "oops..." moment

@Dirgegun I usually never let my wardens be captured at all simply because then I would have to pretty much either let them capture me or let Anora throw me under the wagon which makes me want to snap her in two. Oh Anora, God bless your backstabbing heart... :P

The only way Anora 'backstabs' you is if you backstab her first, though, by letting them know that she's the disguised guard. And her siding with her father at the landsmeet if you want to make Alistair king is... completely valid, considering the circumstances. I love Alistair, but I can totally understand why a woman who has technically been running the country because her husband was a man-child wouldn't want to see Alistair on the throne.

Edit: for silly, silly typos.
