It makes me wonder if that's also a reason to have a common intro for every PC, since whatever your role in the big cross rip, it would have to be the same. Yeah, I noticed that too. Like, maybe depending on your class or your actions we either played a part in the veil rip opening, or didn't want anything to do with it but witnessed it happen. Kinda like in the mage origin where you can either aid Jowan/Lily, or shop them in to the First Enchanter, sort of thing.

So maybe, if you pick the blood mage specialisation then we're directly responsible for it opening because we were dabbling with another person(s) and that was the final thing that allowed the veil to weaken enough to tear open.

The way I read that picture was, probably everyone was bickering on what their next move should be ("We should travel here to investigate such-and-such!" "No, the Divine said that we should go here!") and the Inquisitor just gets tired of all that and just stabs his knife into the map to get their attention (not on any particular spot on the map).

See, now I'm imagining that Gary the Inquisitior is a really camp gay guy. I love him already!

I thought, too, that I heard/read somewhere that somehow our PC might have had sumthing to do w/the Veil rip? That we were the sole survivor and we might have done sumthing to cause it?

Anyone come across this, or am I seeing things?

They also said that our actions very early in the game will effect things. I wonder if that's also based on whether or not we actively played a part in it ripping open or not (be it accidentally aiding someone without realising, or just witnessing it, or whatever).

Probably not that early on in the game. You know what BioWare games are like when it comes to actions and concequences, no doubt something seemingly innocent or small will turn out to be a the difference between life or death LOL!

Yeah, that's how I was reading the tension in that scene, too.  Like, everyone is squabbling and Gary yells, "Bull****!" and smashes down on the table. Everyone falls silent in surprise. Cassandra glares at him, thinking, "Hey, that's my line!"

There are legends from Ireland..before it was "Ireland". But the Fomari", or "Formari"-- can't remember which sp.--were an army of warriors before they became monstrous caricatures thru the retellings.

Sooo, thing is these Formari were said to have a Cyclops...eye. They were known for it. My thought abt that was that these mysterious Formari were prolly wearing sum decorative headgear.

And damn, but the Inquisitors headgear reminds me of what I thought it might look like.

The hitch to my lil thought abt that, however, was that these Formari were said to be able to shoot...magic laser things out of this Cyclops eye. Felling enemy warriors left and right...

so...yeah.
